I built custom axles and used stub inserts for the transmission. Your videos and Flatiron tunings were a good resource too. I'm glad I went with the DCCD. It's still a fresh swap. I'm about to get mine tuned and then prepping for paint. Cheers

It was my first car. Loved it. Keep it stock. If you're looking for something to modify get a WRX. If you desperately feel the need to modify the 2.5, stick to suspension and handling mods. As they say, it's better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. Have fun with it.

blast plates vs 6 speed, did you have any issues with your transmission prior to the 6 speed swap?

I've heard blast plating the 5 speed can make it handle up to 400whp... which is just crazy considering they become time bombs even if you barely start going above stock power without the plates
