Do I need an external audio Interface or the GigBoard will be sufficient for demos? Thank You so much and have a wonderful weekend 😊

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios Sure is, I have heard of guys saying they’ve done great recordings using the GigBoard on Sweetwater’s reviews. Imagine how much this would save me buying an audio Interface. I was among the first buyers of the Digidesign Eleven Rack Which I Used as Recording Interface And a live performance Tool. And I still love it. Nevertheless the GigBoard is a huge step ahead of the Eleven Rack. Another question I have for you if you please. How do I apply IR to my GigBoard? Is it built in? Or it’s in the menu? Or needed to be downloaded? Much Obliged and Best Wishes

I've seen this question asked but I'm not sure there's a definitive answer so I'll ask the professionals; how do I use my Gigboard as a straight-up interface without the effects? I have EZmix and usually use my Audient iD4 for recording but I unplugged the iD4 and now the Gigboard is my main interface...can I still use it to record with other software like EZmix and AmpliTube? Great videos too man, thanks for putting in the time and effort to teach us this stuff!

Awesome video!!! You should make a suggestion to headrush, to add a multi switch to the gigboard just like strymon does. Because when I'm using the 4cm, I use the fx loop and ext amp block so I only have 2 switches free, which is very limited.

This is really Super Complicated And a 90 Degrees Learning Curve. I feel let down by Headrush I got mine yesterday after favoring it over a myriad of other Multi Effects and pedals because I have their Eleven Rack and I tried out some rigs from the menus they all sounded the same and horribly digital so I put it back in its box and I turned on my Source Audio Nemesis Delay Engine and my Wampler Pantheon Drive And I got the heavenly Analog tones I love. No more Multi Effects Gentlemen Back to my Pedals. Thank You so much
@DoctorMcFarlandStudios4 жыл бұрын
I assume you were playing your gigboard through an amp right? Were you just using the effects or did you have an amp model and cab while playing through an amp? Out of the box there is some tweaking that needs to be done that but is the purpose of my video so show you how to set this thing up. The Headrush is very easy to use and if you understand real amps and pedals then the same concepts can be applied to the amps and fx in the Headrush.

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios An update: Thank You for your remarks. I was playing my GigBoard through a pair of JBL Monitors. I think I was a bit hasty in judging the GigBoard before I saw much shorter demo by the Headrush Guys in which They very simply put together a simple Gig with 2 pedals and it sounded Awesome. I apologize for my hasty remarks. Your video will be extremely valuable to me down the road since it’s highly detailed, I am a brick and mortar Old Guitarists who wants his tone with the push of a button. As I am now more familiar with how to choose an Amp a Cab and a Couple Of Pedals. I am so very happy that I chose the GigBoard over anything else.
