Is it all partying? I enjoy being sociable and a night out every now and then but I also like time to myself, but would that ruin my chances of making friends?

I’d say it depends where / who you live with. The people I was with loved to go out and so did I so sometimes we would probably be a bad influence on each other but I wouldn’t say theres too much going out you can do in first year. You’ll know how to manage your time when you’re there! :)

When you get there, throw yourself into Freshers week. Some of it's booze, but there are other things to do. And it's likely the people you live with or live near will be your friends to start with.

Did you ever get chance to go to the coach Lane campus, the city campus looks amazing but there isn’t much on the website about coach lane is it as good and the main campus?

I didn’t personally but had friends that did and it’s good for the intended subject use but it a little bit out of the city I think you may have to get a bus!

Hi I know I’m not Jack , but not to put you off but coach lane personally wasn’t for me I literally cancelled my offer because I hated the campus that much. It’s in the middle of a housing estate tbh with you, there’s not a lot there either. That’s just my opinion of it, if you can I recommend you look around xx

Coach Lane Campus isn't in the city centre. There is public transport. There would be a trip into the centre and living with other course students could be inconvenient.
