Hey man I would look into an inline RV drinking water filter if you are worried about hard water, right off of the hose going into the power washer. I did a bit of mobile detailing and it was a great solution for pretty cheap, I got mine for like 20-30 bucks

I actually have some! While they work to make tap water more potable, they do not help with water hardness. I have test strips for hard water and the PPM remains the same before and after the inline filter unfortunately.
