Big things generally move slower because theyre heavier and it takes an extra second for the nerves to communicate (i think)

It also largely has to do with how we perceive movement in time. Mice and flies for example are very quick and nimble to us, but to them, we're the ones moving in slow-motion. The general rule of thumb is that the smaller a creature is, the slower it experiences the world around it compared to large creatures
