Hey holderhek loving the videos. Some great news, I was the first shaman on my server to get rank 14 previous to this I was a nightfall support swinger but looking into attempting parses now that I have big zug axe, do you have any builds you'd consider for P5 revolving around which rank 14 and which pieces of the epic pvp set are worth running on a parsing storm strike build. Weapon progression Arcanite Reaper, The untoppable force, nightfall, high warlords battleaxe feelsgood.

The rank 13 shoulders and rank 12 gloves are both good pieces to keep for pve. DEOI would be better than the r14 axe for raw damage but zug axe still slaps. parsing builds would be 20/31/0 or 21/30/0 OR 5/32/14 if the fights are longer. grats on that weapon profession btw, you are living the ultimate vanilla dream.

@@Holderhek Tbh I was going to stop at 13 but my new job starts today and I finished R14 last reset and considering somehow in all my raiding I only saw 5 BRE's and no other 2h weapons from MC I didn't want to stretch my luck waiting for a dark edge xD. I'm still recovering as much gold as I can to get a big consume + WB parse to make you proud daderhek.

I think spellhance is a PvP thing more than anything else but in phase 5 with the 2.5 set it might be more viable in pve.

I have seen some BiS lists having the Maelstrom card in it, and the Heart of Wyrmthalak. Do you know or have u tested if these also scale with SP? Great videos btw

I don't believe the heart would be worth it in pve for any situation barring a fire vulnerable chromagus but IF it scaled 1:1 with spellpower i could see it being really fun to play with in pvp. maelstrom is inferior to HoJ in almost all instances barring against very high armor targets.

Easiest way to do it with no raid gear is get the rank 10 pvp set. Beyond that ZG has some decent stuff like the seafury items. I count ZG as "pre-raid" but if you mean REAL pre-raid yeah...the PVP set is your real only option.

What are the big drawbacks in using the spellpower gear set if you're playing a NS build and plan to go up close and personal? You lose melee crit for sure but with that 2h axe can't you still pump out some damage, while having the playstyle you had in the phase 3 spellhance, where you utilize your lighting shield and chip away with the manslayer (in place of a dagger) and try to melt clothies or anyone low with the big boy axe?

Hey mate. The opinions seem to differ, but I've seen some chatter about the ZG enchant with 15 int + 11 spell dmg being bis enchant for legs and head. Especially as elemental devestation as you get a little spell crit. Would you agree?

after playing enhance and raiding mc i say ele is the best for pvp and enhance is better for pve rits oppsite from what other think because when enhance is out of mana as fast as ele windfury can still pop. when ele is out of mana in 30 seconds its gg but ele is a beast for pvp im 2 tapping warriors as ele.

@@Holderhek i herd about spellenhance but it suffers the same issues as melee does in classic wow there are so many geared warriors and mages there is no point to play an enhancement. classic wow class balance is nothing like vanillas.

Hey, Holder. I have been very interested in elemental flurry since your first video about it. I will be hitting rank 13 this Tuesday which is so freaking sick, but I have been curious about the true damage from the build. If I got a Drake Talon Cleaver along with getting hit capped with melee off pieces, would my DPS be any good being elemental flurry? I would probs use my entire rank 13 set along with Eye of the Beast and Darkmoon Card that I could replace with a HoJ if I decided to farm it. Or both. If the DPS isn't that great then I wouldn't mind doing a 20/31/0 build but really hope ele flurry can pull it's own weight.

Honestly I don't think ele flurry would be a BIS PVE build. I think It could be okay and possibly great on AOE fights but for single target it's gonna lag behind due to it's lack of specialization. I'll tell ya what tho, I'll try it out in a raid and stream it.

Hard to test due to the proc but does anyone know if they are "on cool down" for 30 seconds when you switch weapon? I know spinal reaper is but it's not on hit it's equip.

only thing that goes on cd for 30 sec is trinkets and items that have a use. weapons only cd to their swing timer.

We have some guys trying to make it work but general consensus is very hard. You used to be able to dual wield a spell power weapon in your offhand to make it kind of broken but blizzard didn't like people thinking outside the box and broke that.

Meh just use Qiraji Execution Bracers and Cloak of Concentrated Hatred, they are just too good to be replaced with anything else. At this point hit gear becomes a problem as you simply have too much of it, Shadowflame boots need to go. Replace them with Fallen Prophet, or you might just get 3 pieces of Stormcaller's with boots, chest and shoulders. You'd lose 70ap but gain a bunch of other states.

Has anyone tried this with Deathbringer and a shield? I've yet to convince any pug/guild to let me roll on DB so I can use a shield during PvP. The 2.9 speed is great for WF procs and the shield afford survivability! Thoughts?

deathbringer is incredible but unfortunately it's going to be pretty hard to get one. I use claw of the black Drake and it slaps.

This guy has never done any serious pvp with enhancement shaman. You do not wear leather in an pvp environment. You do not choose shield spec, rogue is the only class you will be wielding a shield. Improved ghostwolf is a absolute must have etc...

i agree shield spec is overrated. Rogue openers are from the back and you go oom 95% more times then you get saved from a 50 damage block. Perhaps vs a warr it can make it close...
