Hey guys, just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated this longform version of your previous Iceland videos. Apologies for the late reaction. I haven't been online as much due to work and other circumstances. I absolutely loved revisiting those amazing places in Iceland. As I mentioned before, your initial video inspired me to go to the land of fire and ice and This video is like looking in the rearview mirror with renewed inspiration. Great idea putting timestamps in the video and nice re-editing too ;-) Can't wait to get back to Iceland in June to visit the Westfjords. I'm headed to Iceland this June for 2 full weeks to allow for more exploration. I'm planning on revisiting Snaefelsnes and now Landmannalaugar as well. I Would love to go see those waterfalls and epic mountains in Landmannalaugar and hike at Porsmork. Are you guys planning on re-visiting Iceland? I also catched on to something Brian said when he described the Landmannalaugar mountains to to the sand drawing on the "thisissand" website. I visited the site and it's a lot of fun. I spend some time pouring colored sand everywhere, drawing mountains as the colors changed. Anyway guys, keep the great videos coming. I'm pretty sure you are inspiring a lot of people. Bless you both and great day. Till next time.

Thank you so much for your kind words and continued support! We're so glad that we could inspire you to visit Iceland and that you enjoyed the longer version of our content. It's great to hear that you'll be visiting the Westfjords in June - it's such a beautiful part of Iceland and we are very excited for you! We are definitely planning on revisiting Iceland in the future, as there are still so many places we want to explore and experience. Thank you again for your support and kind words. We hope you have an amazing time in Iceland in June and please keep us updated as we would love to hear stories from your travels! We look forward to sharing more videos with you in the future. Loved to watch your video. Well captured! You guys are awesome 👏. Very useful info and video on Iceland. Will be helpful to plan our oncoming Iceland trip.. I haven’t used drone.. one quick question regarding your drone What model and where to buy? I am a beginner and looking one to buy.. not expensive one though 😛. Thanks in advance!❤
@DylanBrianVlogs4 ай бұрын
Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed! The drone we use is a DJI Mavic Air 2S. We purchased the drone from Best Buy. Although it definitely is on the pricey side, it is well worth it due to the features that the drone has in the software. (Return to home GPS, Master shots, Quality, etc). For an alternative the DJI mini would be a great starting point. I personally have not used one of them but I have heard from others that is perfect for getting into drone filming and photography. We hope you have a great trip! Enjoy!

This must be during cool Summer season when there is no much snow. During Winter season this is all covered in snow? I will never go there because I don't like cold temperatures but I enjoy watching the video! You both have seen the Northern Lights?
@DylanBrianVlogs6 ай бұрын
We haven't seen the Northern Lights because we were there during the summer solstice when the sun almost never sets (June 23 - July 2) and it wasn't too cold, more like the spring weather around 60 - 70 F but in the highlands can get colder even during the summer months. And yes, it's all covered in snow during the winter and some of the roads are even closed between the fjords, especially the area and the road to the West Fjords and Isafjordur. We are glad you enjoyed watching our video 😊

Can you guys remember how much you spent at the various stops , like the whale watching tours, blue lagoon, accommodation, food, etc. I am trying to work out a budget for a faimly of three to visit in November.
@DylanBrianVlogs3 ай бұрын
Since we visited Iceland in summer 2022, the pricing might be a little different in November 2024-2025, however, we will try to estimate as well as we can. The tickets for whale watching were about $80 pp adult tickets, the Blue Lagoon is about the same but they sell packages so you may want to check out their website directly - www.bluelagoon.com and book in advance to make sure you get the time & day you like, we also really liked Sky Lagoon www.skylagoon.com/booking/ and tickets and pricing is very similar about $80-$110 pp and you can also choose different package. As far as accommodation, we used booking.com and it was average around $200-$300 per night for 4 adults. If you will rent a car it's more expensive in Iceland, we spent about $1,400 for 8 days and food also varies but they have great hotdogs (about $8 but they are huge) and really good ice cream at each gas stations and it was our favorite 😀 We also tried some local food and fried fish and it was excellent!! Hope you have a great trip and let us know if anything else 🙂
@elizabethlim40113 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your help, like what you said the price has increased for many things so I will factor more. I assume the price mentioned are all in USD. ❤

Great video. May I ask you where you got food on all this journey? Did you have a refrigerator with you? Where did you buy food?
@DylanBrianVlogs6 ай бұрын
Since we were mostly on the road for this entire trip we would stop at gas stations for snacks. We also did not have a refrigerator with us but that would have been great. Most gas stations actually had these mini food courts where we were able to pick out some things to eat. At the end of our traveling for the day we would normally go out to eat in the town we were staying in.
