Love this video, both the quality and the content! If you want to cut down on the stack of Notion page widgets, you can make a page of pages in Notion and have a widget for that page. I find it loads slightly quicker doing that and cleans up my Home Screen.

Bought this on your site and love it! I was customizing it a bit (per the instructions on your site) and I was trying to add a tap action to the time so that it would open the clock app, but for some reason the clock app isn't listed amongst the "Apple Apps" section within the Widgy app. I assume the only way to accomplish this would be to create a shortcut?

Great video very clear explanation. One question, I have setup the File shortcut but when I test it from the widget the shortcut app opens and then the expected File shortcut appears. How do I stop the shortcut app from appearing/ all the time when using the Files shortcut. (Using iPhone 15) Any help with this would be great. Thanks.

How can I create a shortcut to open camera app in picture mode but then specific setting that is different between opening normal camera app. So for instance I would love have a RAW image shortcut setting with specific 1x from main lens shooting inRAW 48mp. And one button JPEG 1.2x 24 mp. Somehow I can only open camera app in certain mode but it’s not specific enough.. thank you so much

Another great video. As a senior Australian I now wear hearing aids that connect seamlessly to my iPhone 12 Pro. An issue I have is that when I am in the car using Apple CarPlay I cannot answer the phone as it goes direct to the hearing aids, not Carplay and as I am driving, can't answer it. Looking at what you did with Shortcuts, I should be able to make one that turns off the calls to the hearing aids so that the calls go to the car. Would there be an automation that would detect when Carplay is active and turn on the Shortcut plus turn it off when I get out of the car and therefore Carplay is not active? If so, can you recommend someone who go make this for me? Best regards, Malcolm

hi, maybe you can tell me why I suddenly got a light gray transparent background in the background of the widget? does this have something to do with the tap actions? and can't you tell the widget that the "clock" app should be opened when tapping on the time, for example to set the alarm clock etc?

If you wanna stack multiple large widgets (assuming you don't know cuz you told that is a challenge), get in jiggle mode, press and hold the widget you wanna move then while holding that widget use your other hand to swipe the screen, it will easily stack both.

As always love watching the videos. Few comments: why chrome, I find using spotlight faster for files than menu shortcut, what about lockscreen customization. I would like to fit more things into the today’s view and home screen and make more use of it. I hope one day we can do more. Some widgets require medium size for example…etc

I use spotlight as well. I just don’t want to see the Search icon on the Homescreen. I use Chrome because I also use an Android device and prefer to have synced history. Otherwise I prefer Safari much better.
