I’m polish, in my country I use the Tatamovich Kurvascope 9000i , I invent myself. It can light up football pitch from 10,000 meters, in Poland I am fully qualified electrical,electronics, physics,nuclear science,and molecular chemistry engineer, but here in the Uk where I live I work in sausage packing factory. I am wasted in this country , I am best night shooter in world,like betman.

Great comparison guys. A good illuminator such as laseruchs 5000 will transform the picture quality on a pulsar N750 digital sight. Dimmer works on the laser but not on the LED unit.

As a long range shooter it would be nice to see a comparison of ir flashlights at long range. Seeing how well the Armasight MSI8000 and the Laserluchs 5000 (these are the 2 big name long range illuminators I can think of.) compare at ranges from 500 meters to 1500 meters when viewed through for instance the Schmidt & Bender 3-20 and Jahnke with a good tube would be very interesting. The Armasight is marketed to be used up to 1000m with about 1000mw of power. The Laserluchs is marketed only for 600m with 3000mw of power.

Hello Optics trade, i own a pulsar fn 455. But the infared illuminator (pulsar ultra x940) isnt changeable in the height the way it is pointing... now i have the problem that only half of the image i see through my rifle scope has the light from the illuminator... The other half of the light is pointing out of image in direction of the bottom. This blinds me when im stalking in hilly area or when im from a highseat and there is a lot of cover. The ligh refects in de cover or on the bottom and really gives me a lack of visibility... Is there any ssolution to this? And what infared iilluminator would you recommend for the pulsar fn 455 if there is no other solution? I don't want to use 850 NM as deer's can see it... Hope you have advice!

Unfortunately, there is no option to adjust the illuminator. I would recommend one that can be adjusted, something like the Laserluchs LA 905-50-PRO II with an adjustable mount, a Pulsar 940 IR Flashlight or the Dipol LED Illuminator. All work over 900nm, so they are invisible to deer, hogs and so on.
