Thanks Nic. Out of all the videos for this you made the easiest to understand and quickest to make. Straight to the point with cheap, easy access gear from rep, events or affordable alternatives. I can now afk any tfo in the game while staying at 100% hull and I haven´t even finished the build yet.

Just confirmed that the 3 piece Lorca set, does indeed fire torpedoes while in jelly mode while testing a run in Ninth Rule.

I love the lazy jellyfish, it trivializes many TFO's and provides good value. But only for the ones around a central spot you can defend. Counterpoint, Pahvo, wolf 359, upper Iratus ect. Super satisfying.

Love me my Cnidarian! Not very well suited for more dynamic content where one has to move around a lot, but on static wave defense TFOs it is simply the GOAT. It can not only be a VERY potent and consistent damage dealer (i had single damage ticks north of 300k) but also probably the best healer in the game. Definitely one of the best event ships ever and likely the most powerful ship for beginners, because it works just fine without expensive equipment or traits in advanced content. Can be built quite powerful for relatively cheap, especially now that isomags have become extremely affordable. Just a little tip: if you plan on taking it into elite content, you need to build a little more towards survivability since the jelly mode gets cancelled when your hull HP falls below a certain threshold. The console of the Terran Trailblazer is quite useful here, since it gives you 15 seconds of complete damage immunity. Otherwise the DPRM is a good alternative if you can afford it.

it scales with epg! i tested it today 39epg are around 120dmg so iso with epg is the best when you want every little bit. And when i scales with epg maybe tje exotic dmg consoles work too

Thank you for this. Came in the nick of time for Pavho. I just used the T6 one with 5 isomags. The chosen character has almost no useful weapon sets. I used most of your other consoles and traits. It is so overkill for normal Phavo that can just park and AFK. It’s still over 100K per hit, with none of the boosts clicked, and 3K+ satellite heals. This is perfect as I hate both versions of Pahvo. Many thanks Sir. Nice to see those subs heading upward.

Thanks for this. A lot of the builds for the Cnidarian date back to when it first came out, and make assumptions that have since been disproved in testing. Its also great to learn about the jump console options - I'd been stuck using the Picard Manoeuvre due to not knowing there were better choices. Great idea too with using weapon slots for rep set crit bonuses - hadn't considered that! Also great to see you label the Borg Doffs and Universal Designs as optional. I do get a little frustrated sometimes about how ubiquitous the Universal Designs trait is in many higher end builds, given how ultra expensive it is. Don't get me wrong, I know how powerful it is - and would never begrudge those who can afford it for using it! I'm just grumbling because it makes it harder for some of us to 'make our own version of these builds at home'. This is because unlike many other high end traits, its not at all easy to just swap out Universal Designs for a cheaper option. Its such a fundamental source of crit for such builds, and influences the inclusion of many universal consoles and control boff powers, that its a lot harder to just replace it, like you can with Terran Goodbye or something similar: you have to gut out quite a lot of the rest after taking out UD. Thanks man’s glad to have help yeah I find that I have the best time when dropping some of my offensive crit traits for tanks options when doing randoms since the jelly mode does enough on it own with the passives I’ve got and then I just live and do the most damage in that tfo group since I’m always healthy

Supposedly according to testing near the Cnidarian's release it did better when weapon power level was up too for some reason. I'm just mentioning it since I'm not sure you discussed that & if you did I missed it I apologize(I do hear now where you mentioned it around the 8:00 mark). I like your reasoning for using partial set items for set boosting. Any & all electrical boosting for this fun ship. Also, worth re-mentioning there's a couple of consoles (Graviton Displacer) that make the ship move much faster even in jelly-mode.

Perhaps EPtW3 for the +40 Weapon Power Setting for 30 sec. Fiery Charge from Gok'tad and Glorious Charge from Naqjej also good for movement while in jelly.

If the JellyBoat only cares about Weapon Power... wouldn't it make sense to give it that additional WPNPWR as the bottom modifier on the Isomag? IIRC that would raise it from +7.3 to +12.6 Weapon Power. On Seven Isomags that is +51.1 vs +88.2 Weapon Power if all Isomags have +WPNPWR as third buff.

@@Nic_NB I know, I guess I should have explained my though process better. I was looking for more damage dealers that I could use while my weapons were offline and found that Spore infused anomalies skills are still clickable in jelly fish mode.

For the Isomagnetic gear, can the 3rd mod be "All damage resistance" for a good option? Not sure if that applies to both Hull and Shields but I went with one to start.

Hello, whats the point of isomags when the jelly mode do not use any weapon power at all and weapons are disable . Do you get more electrical damage even when the weapon power its at 0 all the time ? Sorry if its a noob question, apreciate if someone can explain it.

The jelly console scales with weapon power so the isomags is boosting that, and the plasma is just laziness, since the modifier is really low Impact on actually dps

@@Nic_NB Thank you, i dont have isomags but i going to try to test it, active Jelly mode and check how much the electrical damage scale with isomag and without them while the jelly mode is active. Very good tip if the electrical damage scales, even when the wepon power its at 0 , thank you again.

The Console - Universal - Ominous Device give +20% all Damage which comes for alot of ships 10th anni bundle and the legendary D7 are the easiest ways of getting it.

Phoenix Store for the red matter device, and you need to have at least the 2 of each set to get the bonus

I dont have my jelly at x2 yet. I do not ha ve throw away money to spend on lock box keys and single ships or bundle ship packs. I did manage to get the mudd bundle that had the light t6 crusier in it. its console does 20% more damage and one from the phoenix box does 5% more damage + radiation damage. you have the hyborean console on yours I put it on mine too, with one of the two forementioned consoles and I have the breen weapon set from the winter event which grants a bonus to beem damage and every other weapon after the set deals either disrupter damage or radiation disrupter damage. Not quite sure though, but you have the dyson grav torpedo and the dyson beam weapon , the 2 piece set grants photon torpedo damage. I didnt think the quantom torpedoes counted as photon torpedoes and if it doesnt count as photon torpedoes, h ave of the set's powers are wasted.A kinetic damage bonus or all damage bonus would do better

forgot the gamma agent event prize for the duty officer 6 fourth ranks which grants a bonus to damage too.
