I love it when people see Malta for the first time. I had to move out to appreciate where I was raised! Malta truely has the best weather as like the gentleman in the video I love hot weather and wish to inform him, summer gets HOT! 30s - 40sC for months on end. If you can cope with it's tiny size, Malta with around 300 days a year of sunshine, is an ideal place to live in. The winters are mild, but it's summer can get quite hot, especially, July and August. However, no matter which part of the Island you'd live in, you are never far from the sea, and the Mediteranean sea is something you'd need to experience, because it is absolutely fantastic. Malta is part of the EU, and compared to most EU countries, it has probably the lowest cost of living. You will experience lots of fire works and village festas, especially during summer. It has a very low crime rate, and quite safe to walk the streets at night. I live in Australia, and I have been visiting the Island for many years.......I am never tired of visiting. Whenever I go, I like to go around April/ May as the next 3 months tend to be too hot for my liking. September is also a good month to visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A VISIT.

Wow! You seen a lot in a weeks time. When I was there, I got sick from the water I believe. Did not get out of bed for I believe 2-3 days. Then Headed to Gozo. Stayed with relatives there for about 5 weeks. LOVED LOVED it❤❤

This is such an informative guide to Malta - and perhaps my favourite of your videos (could be because I could also see myself living there). I'd love to go to the Blue Grotto, Mdina, Gozo & Comino Islands too. The local specialties looked pretty tasty - I'd go for the cheese ravioli for sure and those filled croissants looked delicious too. I like finding accommodations in convenient locations - it's usually worth it in my opinion.

I came back from Malta half a month ago and absolutely loved it. I miss being there! Some of the places you went to, I did as well (Upper and Lower Barrakka Gardens, Fort St Angelo, Mdina - including Fontanella Tea Garden, Camino, so those brought back my memories of being there), but I also got to see some places I didn't get to yet, but definitely will in the future. It is just such a beautiful country and I can't wait to go back. Also, your Airbnb looked super nice as well. I stayed in a hostel in St Julian's but maybe next time I'll get one of those as well.

Malta was the first country I ever visited outside of my own, I was 6 and still remember how small and safe it felt. Yes you would take the same bus back. You can walk to the ferry terminal from the Valletta bus station. You might also be able to change buses and ride a bus to the three cities. You might want to use Google Maps to see which way is faster.

Is that the same location to get back on the ferry to return to Valletta? How much time did you spend in the 3 cities? We spent about 4 hours in the 3 cities so it is possible. I would recommend starting your sightseeing in Valletta and if you have spare time then go to the 3 cities. Yes the ferry picks up and drops off at the same location. You can use Google maps to find it.

Be aware that buses can be unreliable in country areas, being infrequent and prone to cancellation or being full up. Also, they mostly stop running by around 10pm, so plan your evenings accordingly. The narrow roads and the heavy traffic also mean that Malta is dangerous for cycling: so much so that you seldom see anyone on a bike. Apart from that, Malta is a beautiful place.

That’s correct. There are no forests in Malta mostly due to the climate but also due to deforestation many years ago.

Just one per day, Valletta, the three cities, blue grotto, mdina, and Gozo. I think we spent 2 days exploring Valletta but one day is sufficient.

I would love to live in Malta but don't know if it would be possible. I'm a British citizen and think Malta's in the EU, so after Brexit that would be difficult. I could not buy a property. I'll soon have a state pension, as well as a private pension, so feel I could afford to rent somewhere nice but I think I couldn't move there unless I could buy a property, which would be impossible for me.
