Where did you get the barbados dollars? at the airport?
@LucasWorldTravel22 сағат бұрын
Yes, we recommend getting them out of the ATM at the airport.

Good job, presently we are anchored in Curacao after a 43 day sail from Brazil, probably sailing to Aruba in January 2025.

First of all, you live in a resort or gated community. You are clueless about Thai people. They hate foreigners and like your money. You have no idea what they are thinking about you. It is expensive if you want to find a toilet. Trust me. I am glad you are happy to be out of the USA, never come back. It is liberals and communists who ruined the USA.

Curocao is a total tourist trap...food and beveridge prices are the same as the US...Uber is banned so there is a Taxi mafia monopoly...the local rideshare app will still charge you $20 for a ride down the street...buses can run every 90 minutes on some trips...wheres the benefit here? I have been to over 100 countries and I would reccomend Brazil and Cuba for nice beaches where you wont get scammed...😊
@LucasWorldTravel17 сағат бұрын
It’s all about perspective. We didn’t expected Curacao to be cheap because it’s in the Caribbean. So we actually thought prices were reasonable compared to other Caribbean islands that we’ve visited.

@LucasWorldTravel Food beveridge and transport is as expensive as the US...Uber is banned so there is also a Taxi mafia.

@LucasWorldTravel7 күн бұрын
We got enrolled in Thai language lessons so qualified for a student visa. I can highly recommend a student visa too. Classes are fun and you need to learn the language anyway.

@LucasWorldTravel7 күн бұрын
Buses come every 10-15 minutes and you buy the ticket outside of the train station. There are two ladies by the bus stop selling tickets. There will be a big crowd so you can’t miss it.

Being able to jump off a boat is exactly why I want to learn to swim. Good for you guys. I'm annoyed watching this. I've had horrible luck with swim classes and feel ripped off because they never teach me what I asked to learn, which is how to tread water.
@LucasWorldTravel7 күн бұрын
Yes, we know exactly what you mean. Group lessons will only take you so far, so it’s probably time to upgrade to private lessons to go the rest of the way.
@MyAccountForCommenting7 күн бұрын
@LucasWorldTravel They have been private lessons. Instructors are dead set on teaching what they want to teach, which is a perfect freestyle as if my goal is to try out for the Olympics. 😡

I appreciate that you two showcase museums, parks, churches, etc. Not just food and drink (but I love that too). Thanks again, really like your channel!

@SIGSAUER_P3207 күн бұрын
@LucasWorldTravel What is wrong is wrong, no excuse about it. I saw a video you made about Greece, but it is not accurate. Now, there is no excuse about it. Why? Well, my Nigerian friend got stabbed 7 times on his back for just being black and is not the only one. This happened 2008. At this present moment in Athens, the Greeks refused to rent houses to black people in general. My friend had to rent through a white person because they were not renting to him directly. Good luck.
