i would love a more in depth explanation why this happen, but from what i know, the whole sculk sound system in minecraft is based in game events and when you suppressed the sculk sensor all the game events near the sensor get suppressed as well. that's my limited undestanding, but without a doubt the most powerful exploit in 1.21

As A novice programmer, I could imagine having an event function that runs when an event happens, but it would check for skulk sensors and run an alternate event function for when in range of the skulk block running the usual event function from within the alternate skulk one once its done its logic. This is A pattern I would have considered ideal for the readability and maintainability of my own code right up until I saw this video and your comment and realized why you might want to make systems A little more isolated so that one of them failing doesn't bring down some other fundamental feature. I'm learning to make online community driven games, meaning this is especially important to my programs. I think its fitting that content on the game which inspired me to choose this path, has managed A bug teaching me something about the pitfalls of not building intentional fail safes between systems in online games with emergent game play systems and user generated content, like minecraft. Neat stuff!

This is a total guess but I think this works because when you suppress breaking the sculk sensor the game still thinks that it's there so it will try to receive sound events but whenever it does it will realize that there isn't a sculk sensor but there is a chest instead and this causes a suppression

This bug was too easy to replicate and much too powerful for its complexity. It would be much better if it had only a limited range of suppression levels instead of enabling all 15 channels, but that would be 100x more complex to implement and with publicity on this bug there was no time to spare.

The goal is to use their copyrights over the first few seconds of audio combined with their upload of this song being the most popular on the platform using generated kids channels to generate views to capture youtubes auto music identification system. At least this is my best guess based on A few videos Ive seen on this kind of meta gaming the algorithm using youtubes desire to minimize children's content without responsibility.

While I understand the enthusiasm, I can only expect this to get targeted by fixing attempts immediately in 1.21.1, due to the potential of server crashing or item duplication. Mojang will never accept item shadowing because shadowed stacks can be exploited for item duplication as well.

Good guess. Ibxtoycat made a video, why they've chosen such a scuril language. The regime of Belarus moves to the cyrillic alphabet so the people in Belarus don't understand european and western languages. A big game like minecraft being only available in latin language forces the people in belarus to learn the latin alphabet

Using update suppression you can update items in crafting interfaces and essentially link a cloned "ghost" item to a real one, allowing for illegal enchanting shenanigans and more. Update suppressors force ticks to no longer be able to update properly, this also means data in that area won't properly be reported between the server (whether it be local or multiplayer) and the player, which can force timeout errors and kick the player

This isn’t really simpler, just more powerful. It still needs another update suppressor, just like CCE did, so the easiest way to make it is 1.18 nicnac -> CCE, update to 1.20.1, CCE -> noise. Or you can do EOOM -> noise in 1.20.1 - 1.21 but that’s harder
