Minions are a critically important part of Hypixel Skyblock for a variety of different reasons. It is no secret that players will try to maximise the amount of money they can make using their minions as it is free passive income, but minions provide even more value than just this. That being said, minions come at many different price ranges and requirements and particularly for newer players, it can be quite daunting to understand and perfect your own minion setup. As a result, I've created this full on minion progression guide to help you make the right decisions when upgrading your minions so you can maximise their value no matter what stage of the game you're at.

All minions that you wanna use depend on where you are at the game, what you need, and personal preference. I'm currently mid game right now, and went from using melon minions to using slime minions because they're very consistent in how much money they make. I didn't really need melon minions because I already have garden and I can just farm there. However, some people need to use redstone minions because they need their redstone collection maxed out, which is completely fine. However, not all people need redstone minions and already have maxed out redstone collection, which is fine too. I'd say this guide was very good and really did help me manage my money a bit better.

Clay makes like 20% less xp but its easier to store and way cheaper i have 28 T11 clay and 1 T11 fishing it makes like 100kish xp per day

Yeah Fishing minions really aren't as good as manual fishing, however it's the best you're going to get if you can't stand manual fishing. I did use these myself to get fishing 50, and it took 2 derpy's to do so. It's good to know about them if you truly don't want to manually fish, but as you said, they aren't exactly that good unfortunately

When yall are at collection phase in early game, I highly recommend fishing minions. For sack of sack upgrades with clownfish collection and about 5 other items you can fish up for collections, its a good idea to have 3 or 4 down (dont have to be high tier low tiers work)

Video idea/ideas. 1. A mods guide that helps new players find super useful mods without the risk of being ratted. 2. a guide on skyblock going over recent big changes as well as helpful progression tips as well as shows a lot of useful resources and websites. (reasoning: I find myself and my friends wanting to come back to this game but the amount of different stuff that we have to learn makes it very hard and most questions we have we never find answers to. My friends and I have hit a wall in our coop the transition from early to mid game is what I think it is and none of us know what to really do. should we grind skills. money. or something else entirely. and for the mods suggestion I find myself wanting to upgrade all my mods but all of the stories of people getting ratted are scary and push me away from updating and getting more effective mods. those are just some ideas that I think could help a lot of people.

A while back I started playing for the first time and played until I unlocked the mithril minion. I gave my diamond minion at the time a compacter and a budget hopper and left for 3 years. when I came back I completely forgot how to play but later found out I made about 6 million coins while I was gone. I may not be a lot but I'm still fairly new so it was a lot for me at the time.

Usually go a balance of cobblestone and redstone minions in early game. I mostly go this route because cobblestone unlocks super compactors which also need redstone. Redstone gives bigger accessory bags and unlocks personal compactors; which need a super compactor for the first step. Eventually spread out from there. Create more minions and higher level minions of other resources through the crafting table until I get a good stockpile of enchanted cobblestone and enchanted redstone for the compactors.

I was wondering why you use the slime minion setup that you made a video about. I tried it but even standing in the middle w/o intimidation artifact I think the minions were losing efficiency because they couldn't reach slimes (though I didn't do rigorous tests) and the standard 7 by 7 minion expander/ super compacter setup works fine.

Your channel is great for a complete newbie like me. I started playing skyblock a few days ago and the amount of things it has (unique items, skills, minions, accessories, etc) is too much for me to keep track of and find something to focus on. But those minions will come in handy with helping me complete time consuming collections.

U can proba set up every mob minion so if you plan to use the tacticians sword you can get a good amount of damage. This use to be easier with blazing fortress but now you might only get a few due to Ghasts, Blazes and Magmas behind tbe terror of Crimson Isle.

The best minion for leveling farming is 100% chickens. I did this myself on the profile i used to break top 50 in all three chicken collections, so i can explain it. Chicken Minions with the Enchanted Egg item will drop the egg instead of gaining it directly. They also drop the kill items when the chicken dies. By picking them up before the minion grabs them, you get an uncut XP rate, with the eggs alone providing around 20 per with my wisdom. With a magnetic talisman and the right setup, you can manually grab the loot drops from 16 chickens at once with 100% consistency, or you can to for about 70% on 25 minions, which is higher total XP. Because leveled chicken pets sell well, and so do enchanted eggs, you make tons of money and farming XP from standing afk, with only a cheap talisman required to get started.

In my personal opinion (im in mid game) after redstone minions you should use emerald minions to unlock the personal bank in the skyblock menu so you dont have to run to the bank 24/7 or withdraws and deposits other than that awesome vid

gravel minions also work really well for early game, a setup of 20 gravel minions will give you a huge start to the game and will generate 2m per day easily

although they are called off-meta, flint minions are actually really good. I make around 5m a day because you can craft the flint into tarantula silk and make around 1m more than just selling the flint raw on bazaar

Yes! This is important since you can use them as a safety net rather than your primary method of selling on some minions. Spending the money on enchanted hoppers can be really pricey though, so unless you have a lot of spare cash or it's necessary for your setup, I wouldn't recommend it

NEVER do this. Putting supercompactors in corrupted slime minions reduces income. It's a HORRIBLE idea, use corrupted soil and fly catcher instead

I suggest u grind dwarven mines only until hotm 3, then u do crystal nucleus runs (it will give auto hotm in the progress, im almost hotm7 without grinding the boring dwarven mines) and the commissions in crystal hollows is just so much more managable. Buy a pickonimbus 2000 off the auction house and do this. (If u enjoy it the money and hotm is just extra stuff)

What I found when using red sand minions is that they made quite a lot of money (like 5-7m per day with 25 t5s) BUT you have to collect them quite often as you lose a lot of profit if you let it compact into the enchanted cube version

They don't lol, you see, slime minions are only used with enchanted hopper, cuz enchanted slime blocks give less money when compacted and slime corrupt soil set ups fill up in half a day even with a super cimpactor

Slime minions actually make way more, using instead of minion expanders just super compactors and 24 hours of tasty cheese i get like 3m a day with 7 slime minions (not including the coins from the enchanted hopper). It's worth trying out. Edit: keep the corrupt soil.

I think you can expect around 11M coins/day with a pretty high end one and this doesn't require you to actually do anything (no afk needed, you don't have to collect suuuper often, etc). It's not the greatest but it completely outperforms every other "simple, no AFK setup"
