I do Franconia ridge every year, driving 11 hours there and 11 more back to Ohio for fall foliage. I promise it’s worth doing over and over. It’s a tough hike, especially for us Midwest people but man starting before dawn and getting to the peak for sunrise is a sanctuary.

We're planning to return to the White Mountains as we didn't have much time there.
