i think one of the most important thing you said too, was to think about end game early, but not too early. players need to enjoy the game. the aim team is a great strategy. if they follow your guide, they can switch aim to aim-tron team which is totally meta too! nice job!

Thanks Tauna for this great guide. Switched immediately from defenders to this. I am 37 days in the game. I just 3* SS her node with a 35k team (Thor/Loki/Sif/Minn-Erva/Cap Marvel). All of them gear 8. Everyone has two stars except for Thor and CM with both 3 gold + 2 red stars; Loki 1 red and Minn-Erva 2 red. All their passives are level 3. Some other abilities level 4. I guess I got really lucky with the rng, but very glad I've unlocked this node. Thanks for your videos man!

Great Video. I agree. I went for Star Lord and Guardians as soon as I could thinking it would help me dominate Arena. Unfortunately, running into Asgardians and Guardians can't go toe-to-toe with them.

Do you have an excel spreadsheet of this. Would be awesome with an truly in-depth guide. Also, I'm lvl 31 and unsure what team to focus on for campaigns? I can't get to the aim chars yet, but I got an X-Men team and a guardians team and I'm torn. Also do you recommend to shift focus to the phase 1 chars as soon as you can grind them? Edit: Not so sure about AIM anymore. They're a lot of fun, but they don't punch up as much as expected, and they're having a really hard time against Asguardians. I got a whole Asguardian team now, because I bought Loki and Hela, and they seem a lot more powerful plus they unlock BB. My AIM team is only 82k atm but still, bot the powerhouse I expected?

Hello Tauna, love your content. From now i´m gonna focus on aim, just finished the Scientist Supreme`s node in cosmic campaign with a teampower of 51497. I used Mantis 18065, The Thing 9776, Hela 9307, Yondu 9149 and Cap Marvel 5200. My Defenders are about 100k but from now its aim that matters for me. As others in comments - I am level 31, and I cant even start following your beginner guide here. Can you talk a bit about what to do at this level? I can't even begin to farm any of the ones you mention here. Defender nodes I have access to (except for Fist - I cant beat the level) so I am tempted to take that team.

Yeah one thing I noticed with this guide is it doesn't cover the absolute beginnings. You just need to pick a set of heroes and a set of villains and steadily level them up until you can hit the assaulter and security nodes. It really doesn't matter who is on those teams since you won't be over-investing them to get to the nodes you need. Once you have Heimdall unlocked, it's the same story for Cosmic campaign. Just level up whatever cosmic characters you have to get to 2-9 and start farming SS.

I've been playing since jan 1, went defenders then Guardians, both are my two top teams, but I also built wide so they aren't super high collection power. both right around 100k. I have been working on my Asgardians (I don't have Loki yet though so I have Minerva with them) but I already have all the AIM unlocked, should I correct course and go all in on AIM still? Even with the sunk cost on my two tops teams and my project team...

No. If you are that far into the game, you don't need to switch for sure. Continue on the path. Just keep in mind that AIM are amazing and basically going to be your best friends to get into Hela's node as well.

I would go both. Asgard into AIM would be amazing. Although if you have Hela at 4 star, 4 Red Star, you could go full Asgard for sure.

I think if you were to keep up with this guide you would definitely need an alliance way higher level for you basically getting carried for majority of your time Also I think you can unlock and farm defenders by the time you actually unlock the SS node The farm is so slow you can honestly build A.I.M. while farming her and theres no guarantee you would unlock graviton soon too anyways Also you did be lacking a Hero campaign team this way which is the bigger priority DD1 is a long way it takes you about 5-6 months just to meet the level requirement I feel like you can add an early phase here saying to farm defenders and utilise em as your main team just unlock em and keep em healthy enough to compete in all aspects till you get on the main ones

hey, im following this guide with only 1 exception. i managed to join an alliance but it still at lvl 7... i started to tako monstrosity from the blitz store because im sure it would take a lot more time until im able to get graviton.... should i just get monstorsity or slot in another hero until i finally get graviton and just continue to get blitz orbs ?

I'm level 57 and have 51 days played. Most of my guardians are on 4 stars and will have them at 5 by next Star Lord event. I will be unable to get them to 6 stars this time around, so should I wait for the SL event after this one, get 6 star SL and bring guardians into DD1, or work on AIM? I also don't have a villians team and currently on Villians 5-9 right now, so I was thinking about a S6 or AIM team. Also I have Loki, and Sif, and will have Thor and Heimdall unlocked within 2 weeks. What should I do? Switch over to this strategy or do something else? Thanks.

There isn't really a set time, it's more like until that phase is done. You can move on in some stores if you aren't finished the campaign nodes and such though. Its very fluid

With a good amount of luck, I was able to 3-star it with 5.9k Crossbones, 3.5k Elektra, 3.2k Hydra Scientist, 2.8k Hydra Rifle Trooper, and 4.4k Venom, a team that's barely 20k power. I had 3 attempts before I got 3 stars.

It all depends on RNG on shards. Its likely to take a bit as this game can be a bit of a grind, but it will be faster to reach a stage in the game where you can do stuff than other methods.

I know you tried your best to explain it in the video but can you please try to explain to me again what you mean by DD2 Unique or DD3 Unique from the war store? Here's what I understand, unlock Sif, unlock Graviton, 5* Sif, get Graviton to 5* so that he is usable in DD2 then I need to get DD2 Uniques and then you start listing off some characters who are from the campaign nodes and I'm confused. What am I supposed to be doing????

Oh man! I've been a day one player but quit when around the time synergies was getting worked and defenders were the way to go. With all the ultimates that are unlockable, I feel like I'm drinking from a fire hose! Should I stick with this plan? I was working my kree team and sinister 6 at the moment. Man, I wish I had some advice like this from the get-go. Started in February and I went all-in on Defenders and got them to G10 3-5 stars. 110k. I got Yondu, Gamora, Drax Mantis and Groot ready for SL. Level 58 and nowhere near DD1. Is ist still worth it to switch or should i reroll? Would suck since I spend some on the game in the last 2 months. I also found an alliance who carries me through U6.

This might be a silly question, but what should I be aiming for SUPER early game? I got lucky with an additional villain out of an orb and now I'm doing the villain campaign, but I'm only level 19. Should I just keep upgrading all my units equally to push forwards in both campaigns?

You basically only need to push the campaigns if you need to get to a piece of gear you can't farm (or can't farm much or) or for a character you need to farm (AIM Assault/Security, Scientist Supreme)

I mean, ok. I initially skipped Defenders and went straight to Starlord and Fury so I had to start Defenders from scratch about 6+ weeks ago. They are now at 188k and can't possibly touch Heroes 7.1. I've had to spend Blitz on Luke Cage, Arena on Daredevil and allllll my campaign energy plus core refreshes on the rest. I feel like a 6+ week project like that should be touched upon in more depth.

It depends on how many stars and how close you are to DD1. I would suggest my guide is more for when you are starting new, however, if you are still ages off from getting into either Dark Dimension then now is the best time to switch.

Im currently at level 54 with a 70k defenders team and beginning to invest in gaurdians for star lord. Im not close to DD1, and havent made any progress into the cosmic campaign. Im currently investing into CM,Minn-erva,Gamora, Yondu, and Thor/Loki, to do the campaign. Is it too late to start investing in aim? Im about 1/5th through each unlock for aim, except graviton, who i have one shard for. Is it too late to start changing?

You don't need to farm any of the Defenders. Just gear them up until you can clear Heroes 5-3

Not really. I'm almost the same as you except that all my Guardians are 5 stars except Rocket which is still 4 stars. Haven't got Star Lord yet. Since you doesn't have to farm for Defenders and Guardians anymore, you have free slot to farm for AIM. That's what I'm doing, also farming Asgardians at the same time. I already got 4 Asgardians except Loki.

Honestly, you'll be wanting to get them to Tier 13 as they are your DD2 team.

@@RalfBaier well, the issue is that whoever you take to T13 first depends on the unique items. If you get the uniques for Scientist Supreme first, for example, she'd be your first T13. Other than that, you want to keep them all around the same gear level though. Graviton and Scientist Supreme are likely the higher priority ones though.

this is really missing 0 to phase 1. how are people even supposed to get to chapter 4+ missions. what are you supposed to do before you get there? spent like 2 days now getting my ass kicked by the bullshit guardian team in the hero campaign at the end of chapter 4. Realistically, just getting more gear to pass it. The issue with those nodes was they reworked Guardians and then decided not to rebalance the nodes.

@@Tauna its pretty ridiculous. spent hundreds of energy upgrading gear, upgrading powers on all of them n first 2 skills, and they still completely destroy my team without taking a dent. They all seem to get to attack at the start, killing or seriously hurting 2 of my guys, and drax has taunt up at the start too. Any damage i do groot will remove when he gets his turn. Then they clean up the rest of my team in a couple seconds and not a a shed of damage on any of them

Im at level 61 with an almost 6 star punfender team and i cant get below rank 250 in arena, and it seems like a guardians team w/out minn and thanos wont really be much of an upgrade for raids. Is shooting for SL next what i should be aiming for, or should i give the AIM team a shot? Any tips would be appreciated!

This is terrible advice.. First of all Pheonix is not easily gotten and spending precious war credits on character shards is not smart... AIM is not a good team without Graviton... This is not good information for early game while the Defenders is not either AIM is a mid game team

AIM is easily an early game team. War is also the only way to get both Graviton and Sif, who are both amazing characters. Are you saying you never unlock Black Bolt because you never farm Sif? Phoenix is actually very easily gotten, once you can farm the characters required for her.

So if you invest in AIM early, how are you getting through the Cosmic campaign to unlock Scientist Supreme? How are you going to get through the Mystic campaign to farm Loki to 6 stars for Phoenix? The event is easy but it takes forever to get all those shards. You're not going to use Supernatural because Ghost Rider and Elsa are not farmable and Strange is in the Mystic campaign. Asgardians? You're not getting Loki early on without luck and you won't have access to Hela until you hit level 71, which will take 6-8 months at least. Heimdall is pretty meh and you can't use SIf because she's Skill not Mystic. Are you using AIM as your Arena team? If so, anyone who invested in Defenders will crush them. Are AIM a great team? Absolutely. For early game though? I don't think they help you as much as going hard on Guardians first. Also, Scientist Supreme is one of those characters that needs a high level investment to be relevant for the things you actually want to use her for. As stated earlier, Graviton makes AIM relevant and by the time you get access to the war store, it's too late because you're already struggling and falling behind in other game modes. Black Bolt is incredible but he's an end-game character. The only thing you NEED BB for is to unlock Maw but Black Order isn't an option for new players and they never will be. Sif is not an amazing character. Sif is a solid tank who benefits from being an Asgardian but she is the most replaceable on War Defense. You can put Thanos, Drax, Captain America or another tank on the team instead of Sif and they will be just fine. Outside of War Defense, Asgardians are not crazy at all. In Arena, you can beat Asgardians very easily with the Tech team. I respect your opinion but I'm not sure what you're basing your information on for this guide as it seems geared more towards mid-game and late-game.

@@metalmaster29 Hey. So I have proof from one of my followers who went AIM early. 12 weeks in, they have dropped below top 5 in arena, they are full clearing Ult 6 and about to do DD1 and 2. War Store isn't that far into the game. I'm not sure where people are getting that idea. You unlock it at level 45, which I'm almost at within 9 days. Asgardians are definitely more than just a War Team. They are great in low arena, and later can be used elsewhere. Mystic Campaign, you have a lot of options. Mordo and Ronan to start with are both easily gettable by that stage of the game. Cosmic Campaign is Asgard 3, plus Captain Marvel (who you get for free from the Widowmaker calendar) + 1 (likely Mantis or whoever you've got from the Raid or Blitz Orbs). From what I've heard from the fellow who helped with the strat, he got to ScS's node with a 50k team, and that was Guardians without Star-Lord.. It's doable.
