Beginner Guide to Legendary Farming - Marvel Strike Force - MSF

To get to 5 star you need 310 shards, to get from 5 star to 7 star you need 500 shards. To get 5 star Star Lord and 5 star Nick Fury you need 3100 shards in total across 10 toons. To get 1 of them 7 star you need to farm 4050 shards across 5 toons. You need about 1k less shards to unlock 2 legendary at 5 stars. A wider roaster will help your TCP to get you into a better alliance which means better rewards in raid and war. It will also give you another blitz team to get a higher score in blitz, that will help you complete all the milestones so that you can get the most blitz credits possible to farm more toons.

What your video has done, that many others hasn't, is shown us "where" to farm these characters we need for the legendaries, not just telling us what characters to get. Star Lord was my first legendary and definitely the one people should go for first. Then NF and Mags. I wouldn't recommend farming Boomer, Yondu is better than Boomer and can be used in villains cosmic and Mystic campaigns

I dont know, i used Boomer for 7 star SL, because Groot is a hard farm and because my 50k+ RR, the fact Boomer is weak didnt matter and because its a blitz store character, u get him without focusing

Mags 6* without Pyro or Phoenix is brutal. I did my 6* Phoenix with weaker team than yours first try. If a new player can be one of the first with Phoenix in their arena can really help with all the extra cores you can earn daily. This is a good guide.

Not sure if it’s just because this guy is a late game Whale, but Shuri makes Wakanda amazing. As far as a full squad synergy team (so No Minnaurdians or theory crafted teams) Wakandans are probably the third or 4th best full squad in the game in raids. Works really well everywhere except high level Arena really. Easy clears on blitz 8-3 for me, punch up well in War, and can use just Shield and Wakandans on a full run through Ultimus 6 raids. No they aren’t fury shield or brotherhood, but BH and Power Armor are 1 trick ponies. They are both only good for 1 node in Raids. Great in Arena and War though. Just because a team doesn’t become the best team in the game immediately doesn’t mean they aren’t good.

Any team is good in U6 at this point, but I have over a thousand t4 mats in the team, three have 5 red stars, all are at least 5 gold stars, and they're just not good. I'm happy you've had a better experience than I have, but in my experience they're just an overhyped team from Foxnext.

Until Coulson came, Shield operative was way better than trooper, just because you have a 7 redstars trooper doesn't mean he is good, he is shit on shield team as he can sync on any other team - but shield operative is the dispel the shield team needs. Let's say people are struggling in ultimus 6 on that fury + drax node, because drax has a pre taunt, you use operative to clear the taunt and focus fury down fast, so you can oneshot that node fast, can't say the same if you would of went with trooper. She is better than trooper in the way that she fits better in the team, and trooper fits better on a non shield-fury team.

I think one point clearly missed in this video is that sinister 6 can be farmed *instead* of defenders for your first arena/blitz/nexus team (and only needs mantis for raids). You can be farming for your first 2 legendaries before you even start farming. For the third legendary, and I recommend this because I have completed the prior step and await the events, is Star Lord. The reason for him is to get a cosmic team to 3 star those cosmic nodes. What I don't know, is whether farming Phoenix fourth makes sense to 3 star the mystic nodes. The goal really isn't the legendaries anyway. I still can't farm all purple equipment, or get my orange skills, but I still march forward. This is my perspective after 3 months in game, so take it for what it is. :)

@@combs93 Funny, Shocker and Green Goblin are the first characters I farmed outside of Blitz and Arena, and I was not any good at either of those until those nodes opened up. It's not the best team in arena, but thanks to KZbin there's a lot of easy pickin Defenders out there. Definitely after 3 months, Shocker is available.

Should definitely be doing raid orbs, because they give you Kree Oracle(Fury), Mysterio(Shuri/Invis Woman), Rav Stitcher (Starlord), Rocket (Starlord), Sabertooth (Magneto), Trooper (Ironman), and Ronan (Phoenix). The rest of the characters are just gravy on your mashed potatoes at that point. But 900 for 9 character shards works out to be a better price, than buying them individually.

@@combs93 While it is random, it is still a more consistant approach. I had all characters in raid and blitz orbs at 5*+ before people in my starting alliance had their targeted raid character (hand sentry back then) to 5*. The random chance of the store having it can be really streaky. I also only have 2 characters in raid orb now that get me shards (Mysterio and Killmonger) and I got Mysterio to 5 star before most of my alliance (the non-whales at least) by still buying the orbs. At the point I am at, it is much less effective, but still not bad. But at the beginning account level, it is a much better way to farm (as is blitz orb.) I have a friend who recently started a second account that is entirely FTP and he isn't spending the free cores either (wants to see how many he has after a year.) He started buying the orbs at my suggestion, and said he definitely notices the difference from when he target farmed (his main account is 250k higher TCP than mine, and has 1/2 the raid orb that isn't at max stars yet because he only buys targetted.)

@@combs93 Ya, for the long farm like legendary characters, it is more efficient (and that is what this vid was about after all.) You can spend 4200 raid credits on 15 of a single character towards one of those legendaries. Or 4500 on 45 shards of random characters, which is about 4 of each character in the orb. That sounds bad, but there are 7 characters in Raid orb alone that help with legendaries. On a pure efficiency level, a month of orbs is about 4-5x more overall shards towards all legendaries. Also, lower level players (that this video targets) only make a couple thousand credits a week, instead of a couple thousand a day like those who are 100%ing Ult6 and 60%ing greek raids (you and I.) The orbs help them build their roster out faster as a bonus.

I used to follow valley khasinonamd mobile games beginner advice now I'm 300 days in and my roster is near 3mill tcp, but my defenders are 220k next is kree at 180k and they just drop from there. Point being that was a very effective but drawn out way if ur rng is decent as well.. it's better to focus on 1 toon at a time wouldn't you agree? Like Favorite EVERY1 but farm wisely

I was js I used a method that allowed me to get what I got thru orbs vs direct buys from store... These days the direct buys are a must as defenders aren't really the greatest starter team anymore... still good but I think guardians are better to start farming from day 1 instead of the defenders... sorry I get off topic easy. Like I said I play and help my 13 year old so theres 2 acts flopping around in the membrane
