For braid to fluoro try using the FG knot. Goes thru the guides much nicer.

I use the FG knot a lot, but when you have to re-tie lots it is not the best. I run it for anything when I can keep my fluoro a little bit longer :)

Clayton, would a 1oz bullet sinker be easier to handle than the snap weight? Put as many as you need on your line above the leader swivel. Just a thought.

It wouldn't sink as fast though... I don't like using too many weights, like 1 4oz is better than multiple 1oz weights

I went out with a guide in Erie this year for walleye. Thought it was so interesting, we went trolling for 4 hours and caught a perch. Just not touching anything and driving around. I had a toddler and wife I decided I wanted to get back to and wouldn’t you know it, every single time we picked up a rod and started reeling, we would get a walleye hooked up. I don’t know walleye but it was interesting!

I wish I was ok losing a 24" walleye because it's not too big. I can't even find walleye on the lake I live on. It's a good problem to have and i'm not jealous one bit lol

Walleye can be the weirdest fish. There's a 30' hump surrounded by 60'+ that always seems to hold fish, I've fished it a dozen times this summer and had limited success, on Friday I was trolling harnesses and within 90 minutes I boated 14 Walleyes and missed at least 10 fish. Sometimes they're just in the mood!

I've never seen livescope used like that! The epitome of dialled😮 also serves to make cranking a lot more entertaining. You're onto something there. Try it with bottom bouncer sometime, I would be entertained 😁 comparison video between the success rates of various glide baits in a given day or days would be a great video in my opinion as well.

Another great video! Clayton if someone had a gun to your head and said what is your perfect setup for rippin hyper-rattles? Talking mostly rod and reel. It almost looks like you changed rods this video.

I did change rods this video. I had one setup for casting without a barrel swivel on it. I like a 6’6” to 7’3”. ML to M with a fast action. :)
