Thank you!! I recently got into Notion and am learning. After, trying so many apps to organize my book Notion is the best, which I wasn't expecting. I have my book set up similar to this, but this is so organized and has details that I didn't think of. I'll definitely purchase this template. 😊

omg I know what you mean, I didn't expect Notion to be where I ended up organizing my books either lol! And that means so much to me, I hope you enjoy it if you do!! :') thank you so much 💚

This is a great, simplistic system to work with. My one problem is when the internet goes down. I can't work an anything then. But If I'm using Scrivener... then I can keep on truckin' with no problems. ;) Internet outages happen often enough.

LOVE this as an on the go replacement to scrivener! That's my biggest gripe with it, so thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for this template. I'm soooo glad I found your video about leaving Scrivener and how to use Notion like Scrivener. I also loved Scrivener, but it's not working for me anymore. This is so, so helpful!

Hi! I love these videos on Notion! I was honestly so intimidated by the app that I haven't used it but I never uninstalled it because I thought that one day I would utilize it. And these videos have helped immensely! My only thing is that all the "template choices" on the app overwhelm me. Like when you start a new Book, are you choosing the template "Personal Home"? Perhaps it's the "Reading List" option? Or maybe the "Personal CRM" template? Would you be able to show which of those choices you ended up choosing for each book and sub page? There are just so many templates; all of the options begin to overwhelm me and then I just end up closing the app. Your videos have helped me a lot so thank you!!! 🖤🖤

HI, CAITLIN…. I enjoyed your video and found it to be useful to me as a new writer attempting to write a book on a topic I like for the first time. I do I go about purchase ing your template you spoke of in the video….. is there a link…. But most of all how much are you asking as a cost? Again, I appreciate your video explanation (the updated one). I think it would be very using for a novice such as myself.

Great video! In your video, you mention that in one of your previous videos you talk about using The Sims to create the rooms or houses in your fiction. I'm very interested in that idea but can't find which of your previous videos it's in. Can you please tell me?

Questions: 1. Is there a way in Notion to see multiple pages (chapters in your template), in one continuous scroll in the style of Scrivener's "Scrivenings"? 2. How does one search within the manuscript, research, etc in Notion? Can one set up something equivalent to Scrivener's Search Collections (preset searches)? 3. What about scrivener's footnotes, endnotes, and notes metadata? Can these be set up in Notion? 4. Can Notion automatically pull date and time instances from manuscript text and present them in a timeline? Graphically associate those events with places and locations (settings)? 5. Can Notion perform automatic searches for common words and phrases and Characters and places and present these in a graphically meaningful way that allows navigation to the places in one's manuscript text that correlate? 6. What is it that has you wanting to use Google Docs? Why not do your writing right there in your Notion template?

Could you explain how the Mature Rating system works on Wattpad? I have an idea, but I'm not entirely sure, so I'm hoping you can help me understand it better. Thank you!

Why use notion vs just using Google docs? Why is notion better than Scrivner?
@caitlinfiffik Жыл бұрын
I talk more about why I switched from Scrivener to Notion in the video linked in the card :) mostly it was just because with Scrivener i didnt have the option to write on anything other than my laptop, and I like having the option to use my phone or tablet. With Docs I can write on any device anywhere I go. And I use Notion in addition to Docs because I like the organization it provides! If Docs ever adds folders to the files page (and ideally toggle lists in documents), then I'll probably just use that exclusively :P But as it is right now I just really dislike the chaos of the Docs layout lol
