I really enjoy all these videos, What ever happened to this mini build? Was this project ever finished? Do you have videos of this car finished?

I said the same thing. In a previous video he said “…if I don’t blow it up.” I think it blew up.

I have a 2007 R56..got about the same stuff as you…Borla exhaust…no cat…lowered…slotted ..cross drilled rotors..larger heat exchanger..shifter upgraded....all upgraded turbo piping…M7 tune…21 lbs boost …about 230 hp…and that’s about all you want to make on a stock rotating assembly…after that you want to go forged….I do all my own work on it…timing chain is still quiet..111,000…gives me no problems…goes like hell…almost as fun to drive as my 03 SVT Cobra….this car has been bullet proof…all except I cracked the third gear synchro ring yrs ago…that was f@#king $$$…$3,600.00 aside from that…great car…love your channel..😀

I can totally relate to you about going about things the hard way. The I've worked with alot of cars and the MINI Coopers have the most enormous challenges. The potential is definitely there but the real estate isn't! It takes someone with the mental capacity to see it from different angles, solid patience and endless experiments to get something to work and fit but at the end of the day we feel proud and accomplished damn it!!! Also, I really appreciate you being the front line to tackle this. I will most likely go the exact same route you did. Thanks again Alexander!

Hey Alexander... that RPM power kit looks brilliant ... would you upload a video of driving with the total kit installed and give us some feedback about how it is working on your mini cooper, please. I am gonna order one. Thanks, mate.

Dude, great job. Even with all the challenges you keep a great attitude and got her done. Few things to note: If you can or if you have room, try and get a working bench and put the vice on it. Working on the floor is tough. Also, practice some PPE when you can. Other than that, great job dude.

That would be pretty weak numbers for such a long lasting build. Nothing special anymore.

Cracker of a build 🤤 did you end up doing a review with the charge pipes? When our mini head studs come to production I swing you a set. Our current 14mm studs are good for 360 nm just saying 😉

🤔 this would have been perfect of an O'Berg cleanable oil filter. You can mount those in ANY Direct when space is limited. But I'm sure you got it working now.
@AIRCOOLEDLIFE2 жыл бұрын
Those oil filters are flat like a round sandwich and about 1.5" thick. I have one on my Old school Turbo VW Bug.

I have the same exact model Mayfair 2010 S (r56) I also want to upgrade with the JCW side skirts. I also want to install the F56 JCW Rear Spoiler but I’m unsure if it would fit! Are you planning a similar modification?

@@outlawedmotors they’re so good man, I’m in the process of upgrading the intercooler on my 2011 R56. Your other video on that was super helpful. Debating going for Jb+, I already have Alta intake/exhaust/piping on a turbo with 60k miles.

I just bought this entire kit from RPM Power for $1000 negotiated free shipping on 9/26/2019. Emailed with Lorenzo at RPM, then he sent me an invoice via PayPal.
@anangelshero04102 ай бұрын
I was writing with Lorenzo this evening, and he warned me in advance of the fitting issues with the relocation kit. He's a stand-up guy.
@strongme802 ай бұрын
@@anangelshero0410 Yeah I took mine off and will never use it again. The fitment issue is a pretty big deal for the kit that I got, the AN fittings have an interference with the Cat. And not only that, one of the lines that came in the kit had burst, I lost oil pressure, luckily it happened crawling in traffic and I was able to shutdown the motor in 15 seconds when I got to the shoulder of the freeway. One of the rod bearings juuuuust started to fail, zero damage to journals. I rebuilt the entire motor for the third time with new bearings to be safe, all good up and running again. The quality is top notch though. I'm pretty much expert in R56 Cooper S. :-) For smog legality, not recommended. For racing and track use, absolutely.
