On a side note: I heard watching the adds through the videos help support your channel. I’m all for watching a few 15-30 seconds ones, but 2-3 minutes are a little too much for me. I don’t know how much control you have over this but I’d rather watch 4-5 short adds than 1-2 long ones. Not a criticism, just sharing my opinion as a viewer 😉

You found a K-Car Camper...?! 🤣 Excellent.... 😁 My son Jamie reckons he'll start up a business over there after graduating (he's already got it planned). It's a foody thing and he sees Osaka as the perfect place to start because of the way food is a big part of the culture there. Did you guys find vegan places relatively easily? Are they front and centre on the streets, or did you have to have to pass many takoyaki stalls to spot them?? 🇯🇵 😎👍

Vegan places not so easy to be honest! They are reasonably spread out and most of them aren't even open when you arrive lmao. Osaka would be a perfect place!! We were actually saying ourselves how cool it would be to open our own vegan place there. That falafel guy moving to Japan from Jerusalem to open his own vege kebab place, like how awesome is that!! Excited to share our little Japanese campervan with you all next week 🥰🥰

Opening your own place would be an excellent idea - there's a gap to fill, and you could get to see all the deer in all corners of the forest park in the times between opening...😁

What a fun video!! Watching the two of you enjoy interacting with all those cats was so sweet and so satisfying!! What were you feeding them? That looked like fun to have them all clamoring for a treat. I love cats but I don’t have any right now. One of my dogs has a strong hunting instinct and he thinks they are vermin although he did used to live with a kitty and left it alone so I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️. The deer were amazing! I loved that you got to feed them. Japan is wonderful! I really enjoy your view of it. You take us places that a lot of people wouldn’t. All of that vegan food looks delicious! Ah Doctor Do Little I'm not quite going for that yet . Super Cat Lady I'll see that one . Such beautiful colors in nature . The restaurant / cat heaven place would never fly in the USA 🇺🇸. The place would be shut down and require a week of deep cleaning . The ride was great especially since you had it all to yourself . Keely here's what I learned this week . Wait a minimum of 90 minutes before eating or drinking any caffeine . It will help with not feeling run down in the afternoon . Vegans eat sugar ? I think that's cheating on the vegan diet . Man made . I think the brides dress got in the fountain a little . I'm sure glad you two are loving life .

Cats! 😻The deer around us in NY make a sheep/goat type sound when they are in distress and make a loud snorting sound sometimes I think is a warning sound. I haven’t heard them make that chirping noise but they may, they keep to themselves mostly:)

Yeah I think Hokkaido would be impossible without a 4x4 type vehicle this time of year. But gonna try and find some snow as we head north and into the mountains, but not quite as extreme as Hokkaido hopefully lol. Maybe some day in the future we will come back and do Hokkaido in the spring 🥰🇯🇵

I try and watch all the adds all the way through as I know it helps them a little. But one of the ads I got was 20 minutes - so I watched the first couple of mins and clicked on the link instead, hopefully they get a few pennies from clicking on the link, 20 mins was crazy though, who is going to watch an ad that long. I'm sure they have no control over it.

Hey guys! Just working my way back from the beginning of all your vids! Keely.... did you know this about cats? Cats are actually our protectors... they protect us from evil spirits, and their purring is actually therapeutic for us. I've got 2 kittehs, and I've been a bit ill recently, and my two cats sleep up around my head and shoulders when I'm ill. They can and do actually take on our illnesses as well, which I wish they wouldn't, because I want my guys to live forever, but yep... those are some of the hidden secrets about cats! I've always been a cat person, way before I was a dog person, but I think I've actually been a horse person before both dogs and cats. And I'm a dog trainer too lol xxoo

Kyoto and Osaka are close to eachother so possible to do day trips. However Tokyo is far. I would say best option is to do a few days in each place and then move to the next one. The overnight bus was about £24 and took 8 hours. We are happy to answer any questions you have about Japan travels 🥰🇯🇵

Yes guys and gals. Alpha from Osaka where we are in our hotel this evening after experiencing a wild and ferocious thunderstorm in downtown Osaka tonight. We have been to a vegan place to eat vegan chicken and chips, amazing and nice and unhealthy, just the best, am not here for health, am here for animals to get treated right, health is a very poor second for me. Yesterday in Nara we improvised beautifully in a really odd little cafe specialising in pickles and rice, beautiful, vegan , healthy, but watched very carefully what we ate, as some stuff was described as plant based and ‘‘twas fish FFS. It was not a vege place but food was amazing. Do the local council give vet treatment to any sick deer? If not then as usual animals get used for basically funding a tourist trap. Epic that you are in Osaka!!! We LOVE that city. Yeah they don't seem to classify fish along with meat, so things are labeled vegetarian but might have dashi fish stock in it. You have to check ingredients very thoroughly in Japan.

@@phillyandkeely Japan is really poor for vegans in terms of what 'normal' cafes can offer. We did eat splendid vegan grub at Soup Stock Tokyo in Osaka, as well as at Coco in Osaka. But anyone claiming Japan is good for vegans has to be joking. It is totally fish and meat obsessed.

@ChapterByChapterVlog Most comical thing happened to me in Nara on Aaturday. My OH, Ana, was videoing me feeding the deer when one wee deer bit me on the arsenal. Later in Starbucks toilets, I used the arsenal washer on the bog, but , typical gai jin I am,I forgot to switch the rear end washer off, result getting an impromptu flood and a force 10 shower of water hitting the door. Hahahahahahaha 😃
