Today, we're excited to share a delicious recipe for Pain De Mie, a French bread known for its super soft texture, slight sweetness, and versatility. This recipe is brought to you by the talented @BackyardChef , using our HYSapientia Air Fryer Oven.
Ingredients:
225g (1 3/4 cups) all-purpose flour
225g (1 3/4 cups) bread flour
9g (1 3/4 tsp) salt
Activated yeast mixture (from below)
45g (3 tbsp) unsalted butter, softened
1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
Additional butter for greasing the pan
Ingredients for Proofing:
270ml (1 1/8 cups) warm milk (around 38-43°C or 100-110°F)
22g (1 3/4 tbsp) sugar
9g (2 tsp) instant yeast
Instructions:
Preheat your HYSapientia Air Fryer Oven to 160°C (320°F).
Combine the warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast. Let it sit until the mixture becomes frothy.
In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, bread flour, and salt.
Add the activated yeast mixture and softened butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
Grease your baking pan with butter. Place the dough in the pan, cover it, and let it rise until it has doubled in size.
Once risen, bake the bread in the preheated HYSapientia Air Fryer Oven with the lid on for 25-35 minutes, or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
