Its amazing what you can so with such a small device (thats what my wife tells me).. I went from a headrush mx5 to the core this Christmas and its amazing how great these things are nowadays. Have a great year with much health and success.

I know it'd be way too time consuming, but every time Ola shows me a new amp or modeler my first response is "man, I wonder how that sounds in a mix?". I'd love to hear a simple demo track to get an idea of the possibilities with devices like this Mooer. I'm actually super-impressed with what I've seen here as far as the actual sound from that lil thing! Amazing!

It's amazing to see all the options there are now compared to even 10 years ago. I started with a Zoom G1N that I used for live gigging but never for recording since I really gravitated towards amp sims like LePou ones or Amplitube. Now I don't have the money to get a Quad Cortex or a Mooer GE, but I got a Matribox 2 and a M-Vave Cube Baby for live gigging and sometimes for recordings and they are just amazing! Someday I will get a Quad Cortex,, but for now these entry-level multi effects pedals are all I need.

I use the Pandora 20 years ago and cut a three track demo by rewiring it into the back of my Panasonic shelf stereo. I played and recorded on the one cassette line. Then I played the cassette back and sold it over it. It came out amazing For that time A lot of fun I’ll tell you

I love my P2! I've been using it with an old phone case clipped to my strap like a wireless system and it's been my go to since i got it! I got the best DIME tone using an IR out of this thing! It fucking rocks!🤘

I have been waiting for this to arrive since the first Mooer mini-format digital amp sims were announced. I liked their sound but found it daft to have DSP hardware that could play all these models, but then only have it do two channels on what is essentialy multi-fx capable device. This is that + IR, and then much more. I got it ASAP from China. The included battery and stereo out, and vocal processing that isn't mentioned in this quick review make this my go-to device for busking, and at this price will more than pay for itself in a single sunny weekend.

I have the P1, and have had it for more than a year and a half at this point, and I gotta say I love it. It's pretty much the same as the P2 minus the IR and the extra amp capabilities, also you are stuck with the factory pedal order, but it's also less than half for the unit and the footswitch (which is the exact same)

Have been using Prime 1 since its release, pretty cool, very handy for rehearsals so you don't have carry a bigger pedal(s)

I have the Blue Pandora box by Korg. I don’t use it much because of new gear I’ve gotten. It still works tho, and helped me be able to play my electric any where since the late nineties! Thats why I stick with Korg and Boss, they make reliable and great sounding gear. 🎸

These are selling at $249 in the States. Sounds good enough in the video and it has more available effects than the new Kemper Player and more amp models than the Fender Tone Master Pro.

super useful for me, i was bringing my trio+ and a small speaker but this way i wouldn't even need acces to power, charge my little speaker, charge this thing and i could take it anywhere.

This probably is great when ran into an amp. I tried the P1 version back in October to replace my Line 6 POD that died, hoping to use it for headphone practice. But never used anything but headphones And unfortunately, there was no 'headphone' mode/preset which would've been really nice (room reverb helped a bit). Volume levels for headphones were all over the place, 'master volume' did not live up to its name. Can move the signal chain around, but not really edit it (Hey, I might want 3 delays). I wanted to love it as it had some great sounds, just didn't fit what I was looking for. It is SO damn close to being great, if they updated the software it could be awesome.

I think this would be great for a novice/beginner guitar player. Could probably run it through your home stereo. You seem to get all the effects you would ever need and on the cheap. How much would you pay for all of the functionality in the 60s or 70s?

I can’t wait until the norm is to just have something like attached to your belt no wires just a little doohickey. The first one of these I ever used was a Pandora's Box, back in 1999 or something, I have a Line6 Pocket Pod now, but with the latest in modeling now these units can hold up. This is a little pricey, but its interesting. Mooer modeling has been decent for a while now, my question is will this load Mooer profiles? If it does I'm getting one the second I find the cash

Okay this rips. One additional thing about the wireless switching if you leave the unit at the back: you're missing a tuner at the front of the stage. It really feels like someone should publish a standard for that (the Axe-FX for example transmits tuner info when you engage the tuner so midi controllers can display a tuner remotely)

How does this compare to the NuX pocket pro? Also if you have a quad cortex dialed in, could you export the signal path as an IR and load onto this thing? If yes, I’d totally keep this in my gig bag!

An IR is a static frequency response. You cannot capture distortion characteristics, as these are non linear.
