Thank you for this, I built mine very similar (same GPUs, MoBo, PSU, Case) the only things I changed were the AIO to a NZXT Kraken 360 Elite and CPU Ryzen 9 7950x3d. this 32GB of VRAM for redshift, cycles and AE a complete BEAST

I'm not sure if its this simple but 16GB x 2 = 32GB VRAM. Again I'm unsure if its this cut and dry as the second card probably doesn't have access to the same amount PCI-E lanes; 8 vs 16. Maybe if NV-Link was still a thing.

Back when SLI was popular, the cards didn't have vertical pass-through airflow like many do now. The bottom card is blowing heated air into the top card's heatsink, but doesn't get out of hand thanks to the bottom case fans feeding cool outside air straight to the cards. I love this build.

Im currently building a Proart computer for UX and Digital design. the DP pass through letting me use my 4k drawing monitor with a single usbc cable is very nice, especially since upgrading from my 2080ti and losing that usbc port. Unfortunately I will never buy an nvidia card again due to their poor treatment of vendors and consumers, so I won't have a proart card.

Fantastic build,I appreciate the minimal use of RGB in the build.I assume SLI is handled via Pci-e lanes as there are no SLI bridge interfaces on 40 series cards.Did you benchmark the system and if so what were the rendering times like in comparison to a single RTX 4080?🔥🔥🔥🔥

It can't run SLI sadly. Even it's not necessary since most of app can use multiple GPU. The problem honestly is just Nvlink, it's buffed up SLI that can combine the VRAM, especially if you're crash if the memory got out of hand on those app. Sadly Ada Lovelace can't support Nvlink anymore, even on Quadro variant. So, while you can use dual GPU, the VRAM used is not combined

Great sleak build. I was considering going for the ProArt 4080, but the reduced heatsinks in favor of the more compact design means the temps are higher in gaming/workload. Around 80 C.
