NOTES FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE SOME QUESTIONS Why no nika? Nika is only really strong in BY. Kaido feels like a must see v bonney/lucci so you rather usually have a 3rd Why no paulie? On 7 don, you are gonna prioritize taro, on 8 you usually double 4 drop, on 9 its boss monster. Paulie is only for really bad hands and only for doffy first summon / mage paulie v black Why 3/3 mage clay? Simply put its have room for event search to find taro v doffy going first. Double search off event + zoro going first means seeing around 17 cards (5 hand, 2 life, 8 dig, 2 draw)

@ if you are no bon clay, you can run 2 paulie and 3rd gattling Its not as strong but its good enough for now

I think the dude who went 10-0 in swiss said he somehow avoided doffys throughout all of swiss. Regardless 10-0 is crazy for plufyf esp since a lot of people write off the deck pre 09.

Did he really dodge all doffy? What a lucky run, I do think the deck is not as good in this meta though, but 09 it definitely can keep up! Don't sleep on it!

In my “state” of purple luffy vid I went over 7c king! I love it as a card but didn’t have room for the non counter ratio that I’m comfortable playing. I really think it does well overall.

Kid blocker always gets removed though at least with queen you get value from card draw even if it's removed.

I’m pretty new to the game and am making a purple Luffy deck as my first competitive deck. What exactly does “on curve” mean? It’s said in a lot of tutorials of videos regarding this game.

So on curve refers to playing a card on the same turn you hit the exact don curve for kt. So playing luffytaro on 7 Don would be on curve.

The 10 Pluffy dodged all Doffy, Bonnie, Smoker, and only played against 1 Lucci. Still impressive to go 10-0 but not playing those matchups is insanely lucky. Even luckier is playing against 4 Enel.
