Love the Azami S tier. Its crazy they made her kibas worse and she's still an S tier. Reminds me of the Frost rework where her gadget is less "set and forget" and now you have to play around / near her gadgets. So glad they didnt nerf her into the ground

Seeing echo in B tier is crazy considering how broken he used to be and he’d get banned every round back in the day, I do agree tho as an echo main. Edit:I hope they consider giving him invisible drones again but you can’t stun while they’re invisible and you can’t yellow or red ping to make it balanced, you’d have to turn the invisibility off to ping and stun

Hey man, love the educational content. Just wondering, could you do a updated defender & attacker strategy like you did a while back? I've been using that video for my return to siege and it was really helpful, but was wondering if there are better strategies with the new operators and operator changes.

Yeah I'll definitely make a video on how to setup every site and how to attack every site again but those videos take a VERY long time to make. So I don't know how soon I'll get one out. I was kinda thinking in a month or 2 but I'm not entirely sure

whole list is good other than the rook placement, should be B at least. ACOG mp5, 25 + health for the whole team and self revive for the whole team. Also impacts for rotates.

Great content as per usual! I agree for the most part. Me being just a scrub, my S tier would be smaller with me moving Lesion, Valk, and Wamai to top of A tier. Moving from A tier to B tier, I’d move Mozzie, Jager, Goyo (I think he’s more situational to bunker sites and ACOG on Vector is ridiculous to control), and Mira and Frost to top of B. I’d move Melusi up and Warden up into B tier. The rest is good! All the best!

@@BMP I’d actually like to see Jager’s gadget and gun buffed to bring him more back into meta so it’s more of a choice between him and Wamai. Just shorten his recovery time on his gadget from catching utility. Or if they gave him an ACOG. I’d also like to see Mira made a 2 speed and Echo get another Yokai. Double down on his identity as an OP now that he doesn’t have a 1.5 or ACOG.

Vector acog is one of the best things in this whole game ngl I like to run an extended barrel (cuz the gun is a pea shooter), laser sight, and vertical grip. And I'm on console, I Main goyo that's why it's a Lazer for me lol

@@Rookfromr6 On PC, to have any hope of hitting a shot with Vector ACOG, you need to tap fire 7-8 bullets with Flash hider and Vert Grip. Personally, I think 1.0 x is more realistic on PC. That being said, milk it console for as long as it’s a thing. There are far worse things in Siege. I play lots of Fenrir and would totally offer that he needs a nerf. I’d like to see his Bailiff to handgun, and reduce his gadgets to 3, have them always destructible by gun shots and have them undetectable by IQ if they are turned off. Even with those nerfs, I’d still put him mid A-Tier.

@@chris_andros interestingly, they're doing exactly that to fenrir, they're making it so that his gadget is always destructible and if I'm not mistaken I think they're taking one away. I think they need to buff my boy goyo tho. I really wish he had a nitro on console like he does on PC (does he still have a nitro on PC? I think he does) and I think they should give him 1 or 2 more Vulcans. Just my opinion though

I only disagree with the vigil placement. His gadget is really useless in higher ranks. Moreover, I think that k1 is overrated as well. He can be lowered be in D for these reasons. Anyway great list G!

Thorn works best in conjunction with other Trap Gadgets. Specifically, her Razorblooms can force an enemy to push through an uncleared door with Kapkan, or Aruni. Or simply a Lesion needle that slows then down enough to die anyway. It's not a time-waster, so much as a way to interrupt an otherwise coordinated push. As for Tachanka, I use his LMG more for site setups than actual combat. This can free up Defenders who need to pre-place their gadgets. And while it's rare for his fire to actually kill anyone, it CAN be a time waster, just long enough to stop a push and let your teammates reposition. Red Stairs by CCTV/Cash on Club House is a prime example: 2 razorwire on the stairs, and Tachanka can just bounce his grenades down them without exposing himself. He can also ricochet them through the drone hole, and make it harder to breach the outer wall! Neither are S Tier, or even B Tier. But I think they can absolutely dominate with a coordinated team!

thorn is pretty much useless now because the removed her 2.5x plp were only using her because she had the 1.5x last season, her gadget is so mid compare to other trap operators. Also tachanka can be useful but you have smoke and goyo which is arguably 2x better.

Yeah but just because someone is overshadowed by someone else doesn't mean they are a bad operator. Thats' precisely why Wamai is in S tier and Jager isn't. Jager by definition is useful every round so I put him in A

I’ve been Thorn a lot more recently and while you are correct about her traps not getting a lot of kills, it’s because I believe her traps are best used in conjunction with eachother. All she needs is a fourth and I genuinely see her being picked more often in Comp. To put her into a rework category I think is missing her true value. Forcing attackers into kill boxes. Solo que you’re definitely not gonna great luck, but with even a single teammate it’s crazy how easy it is to get damn near free picks every time. I say nearly every time cause there’s always gonna be the god who fucking pops you 😂

Would be awesome if they made thunderbirds healing stations a portable drone that you can shoot the healing pellets at teamates for 50 hp but only has one pellet and has to be brought back to thunderbird to reload it and it can only be reloaded once per healing drone (she'll have 2 instead of 3). But it can change between portable and the stationary normal form we have now where it'll heal for 30 and reloads automatically over time infinitely

I hardly agree with this one. On defenders I always picked the best ones or that are versatile enough for almost every sight, I like confort picks on defense. Maybe I would lower Frost a little. On top of the nerf, you kinda can't use her every round because she can me more predictable than almost any other trap operator. If you use her one time, the chances of getting sucess again is reduced. Although you can still hard defend a window with her, attackers can repick for grenades or flores to destroy the mat more easily (supposing that reverse rappel can't destroy it). About Melusi, is funny how she basically overshadowed Ela in the past, when she was oppressive, and now Fenrir overshadows her almost in every way. A better gun, a more threatening gadget.

Tachanka is one of the best operators IMO. people rely too much on gadgets, tachanka has one of the best smgs in game with an acog, great secondaries and deployable shield. We are in a run and gun meta atm and he literally claps ass. easy B tier at the very least. I think his ability should be armour based and just forget the big gun thing entirely. for example his visor could be toggled up and down and act similar to blackbeards shield. protecting him for a one time headshot or something.

Putting Pulse next to Oryx is just a crime. I understand that he relies on vertical plays but I can't tell a map where it's not possible to be honest. You can play with him vertically on almost every map. He's also a very good roamer, can waste a lot of time and basically has wallhacks. And when I play Pulse I get a C4 kill almost every round.

Frost is so overrated and warden is now slept on. A lot of frost mats are very predictable or visible, her gun isn’t that good with that slow ass fire rate, and she’s not the only one that can bring a shield or shotgun, plus Azami can function as the op that brings a makeshift shield. Warden is slept on now that he’s nerfed. He can anchor with shotgun, set up site, use smg 12, or still roam with mpx and horizontal grip for a little more speed. Ying is the most powerful attacker and flashes are very common. He can also bring shield instead of frost for the team, and then you can just bring lesion or kapkan for traps.
