Some (kind of) strong opinions about the tier list placements: (note: I included the effects of reaction-specific 4pc artifact buffs because they’re pretty much always going to be used if one were to utilise the reaction in a proper team setting) - Freeze is severely underrated here: Immobilising enemies means that you can save time having to 1) run after enemies ungrouping/running away from you; and 2) run away from/dodge enemies that are hitting you. Not to mention you’re able to take advantage of the 4pc Blizzard Strayer set giving you what’s equivalent to 80 crit value against frozen enemies. While the reaction itself doesn’t work on bosses and certain non-freezable enemies (e.g. enraged kairagi), I don’t think it’s fair to knock it down so significantly considering a lot of freezable mobs still do appear in high levels of the abyss, and a lot of them tend to be extremely aggressive (see: consecrated beasts). - Crystallise is overrated: the crystallise reaction itself does nothing, and the shielding provided by a crystallise shield is able to block the equivalent of a hilichurl’s rock’s worth of damage. There is some offensive utility in crystallise with the 4pc Archaic Petra set but utilising it requires the set holder to actually pick up the crystal, which is both troublesome and often not worth it when compared to other much more easily attainable buffs. - Superconduct is overrated: the reaction itself doesn’t do significant damage and while 40% Physical RES is significant, physical teams in general just require much more investment to match the damage dealt by reaction/mono element-based teams. - Swirl is slightly underrated: it’s able to provide the equivalent amount of RES debuff as superconduct can via the 4pc Viridescent Venerer set (which is a no-brainer artifact set to put on your anemo support anyways) AND do damage. That in itself should have it be rated higher than superconduct reactions. Swirls can also be used to trigger reactions and, since 1.6, scales extremely well with elemental mastery, allowing you to do significant damage on support anemo characters. - I personally think aggravate should be a bit more highly rated because of its ability to take advantage of buffs that spread can’t (VV on swirl, fischl A4 passive, 4pc Thundering Fury, etc.) - Bloom is overrated: definitely shouldn’t be on par with burgeon. It does nowhere near the same amount of damage. Nilou herself is carrying the entirety of the “bloom is meta” flag, with her bountiful core's near-instant eruption and enormous scaling (400% increase in damage). Not to mention it’s very easy to see who is popping the dendro cores in burgeon (and hyperbloom reactions) and therefore you know who you should be prioritising giving elemental mastery. That line is blurred when it comes to bloom teams. You don’t know who will trigger the bloom reaction and so you don’t have a clear idea of who you should be building EM on (it’s the same problem with electro-charged, where the unit triggering the reaction can vary and so the transformative reaction itself isn’t a reliable source of damage unless you build EM on everyone and end up sacrificing their personal damage). Sorry if this came off as rant-y I'm not quite sane in the head at the moment

Aggravate and spread is not affected by atk, and I wouldn't really describe it as increasing your base damage. You can think of aggravate and spread as adding a separate damage instance on top of the damage from your talent multiplier. This added damage increases with character level and em, then gets multiplied with dmg% (electro dmg, etc.) and crit dmg if you crit. These reactions are sometimes referred to as "additive reactions"
@ladderlappen4585

I wouldn’t call it “ultimate” reaction guide, more like “extremely brief reaction guide” because it skips some important parts. Like electro and hydro being able to coexist on the enemy when they are affected by electro-charged, which in certain conditions allows to trigger both overload and vaporize. Underlying auras in quicken. Reaction priority for the situation when there are two auras (hydro reacting with cryo before dendro, pyro reacting with electro before hydro) Gauge theory, specifically with forward and reverse side for not just vape and melt, but for bloom (yes, really, bloom has forward and reverse side when in comes to aura consumption, but damage multipliers are the same). Like, I wouldn’t call this guide bad (mostly, aggravate/spread explanation is kind of wrong), but it’s extremely basic

Should retitle this one to "Moga: Potential Unleashed." Also, I know you said you might save Gauge for a second video, but it explains the differences in multipliers you were confused about. Every reaction has a forward and reverse version. The reverse version has the lower multiplier because it removes less of the aura, allowing you to trigger more reactions, the forward has the higher multiplier because it removes more of the aura (more often than not, all of the aura), meaning you trigger less reactions. That's why the vape teams you play are reverse vape (pyro on a hydro aura) despite the reverse vape having a lower multiplier - you trigger more of them. It's easiest to see with amplifying reactions, but every reaction actually has this forward/reverse relationship with the elemental Guage, with exceptions of Anemo and Geo, but that's only because they don't exist as auras unless the enemy is already infused with the element. Anemo is always reverse, Geo is always forward. Fortunately, the way the game is designed, the element that applies slower typically serves as a reverse trigger. Meaning it's pretty simple to keep the aura you want on an enemy in most cases, and you end up doing it without having any idea what elemental gauge theory is. Specifically, for Moga, Dendro on Hydro is a forward reaction, meaning it ends up removing the hydro aura completely, causing you to generate less seeds - so it's typically better to make Dendro your aura, and Hydro your trigger, because you'll trigger more seeds. Since all transformative reactions care about is level and elemental mastery, you don't need to worry about the unit making seeds actually doing damage with their attacks; they're just there to hit the dendro with hydro and trigger seeds to do damage. So it's like the opposite of vaporize - you should focus on building your hydro units for the reaction, and your dendro units for their raw damage. Though it can be tough to control who has ownership of the seed generation without some practice, so it isn't terrible to also build your dendro units for the reaction, it's just not the best way to use them. It'd be like stacking EM on Yelan and Xingqui with HuTao or Yoimiya - the only way it's useful is if you're messing up the rotation.

You should have also explained that forward and reverse reactions use more or less of the elemental guage. If you apply 2 units of pyro and then 1 unit of hydro, it uses all of the pyro, but if you do 2 units of hydro first, then 1 unit of pyro, it can cause vaporize 4 times before using up all of the hydro. This is why Hu Tao can vaporize every hit in N3C->N1C->N1C->etc can vaporize every hit on the N1C parts. And I know you said your tier list was opinion, but wow it really shows how little you paid attention to reactions before.

i'd switch Overload and Superconduct ranking because Overload should be A since it can be just as useful as Freeze is can stun large enemies like lawachurls, vishaps and especially consecrated beast but the main advantage the overload has over freeze it as bonus damage and best thing about overload it can coexist with multiple elements which allows you to do multiple reaction while freeze does not and Superconduct should be C if not the second worse reaction next to crystallize since all it does is shred enemies physical resistance you get way better results with Artifacts and character skills and passives the best way to fix this reaction is to make it similar to overload or quicken

only thing i can think of that could add to this is aoe reactions have instance limits that can effect 1 individual enemy in a short set piriod of time of 2 damage instances of a type of reaction, which is an advance knowladge kind of thing. overloaded is the exception if i recall being only 1 instance. this fundamentally does decrease how much damage you think you can do when you dont stack multiple elements for a soup team

I feel it's worth mentioning that: Enemies cannot be affected by Anemo or Geo making it so that they're always the ones that trigger their respective reactions. Only exceptions being Zhongli's burst and Jean applying Anemo to the active character, but I don't know much about how they interact with reactions. Using the element with 1.5× multiplier for Melt or Vaporize is better for a damage dealer because the enemy will loose a part of the original element where as the 2× side will remove all of the element Not all elemental attacks will apply an element to the enemy. This is because of a mechanic known as internal cooldown (ICD for short). Standard ICD makes it so that you can only apply an element once every 3 hits or once every 2.5 seconds. Most characters have standard ICD but a noteworthy example would be Yao Yao, who can only apply Dendro on a specific enemy once every 2 seconds, regardless of the amount of hits she does. If any entity, be it player or npc, touch another entity that is affected by burning, they will take the exact same ammount of dmg as the one affected by burning. Making it so that if a character with high em trigers burning on an enemy, they will take large ammounts of dmg in a miniscule ammount of time.

9:55 Electro-Charged is easily S Tier. People seriously underestimate just how powerful having both the Hydro and Electro auras coexist on the enemy truly is, especially when one of them is the best element in the game. It's one of the major factors that makes teams like Anemo driven Taser, Sukokomon (or Soup teams in general), Rational (or Overvape teams in general), and Hyperbloom so strong.
@miyuna_k

Generally very good guide but I‘d rank some reactions differently Imo you cannot completely separate a reaction from its character raster E.g. melt: melt Ganyu and Rosaria exists but even though the reaction has the same multipliers it‘s much less popular than vaporize since better vaporize enablers exist Around 12:04 taking all your stats into consideration doesn’t necessarily make a better reaction since you need more investment. But ig it generally scales better the more money you spend while reactions like hyperbloom are much cheaper to build while having lower maximum potential (C6R5and stuff like that) Idk about electro charged‘s placement. Nowadays you don‘t really run a team for the purpose to archive electro charged. The strong thing about it though is that you can use it together with vaporize and overloaded in teams like Raiden National and gets stronger depending on the number of enemies. Superconduct needs to be much lower, since there is no reason to use it over other reactions meta vise Physical units aren‘t really played anymore. Swirl is higher than electro charged even without counting the cc utility into consideration since you can enable stuff like electro charged through swirl as you said Maybe burgeon lower since there is no reason to use it over hyperbloom because of the risk of burning and the lack of a really good triggerer. Thoma is good but you need EM on him for high burgeon dmg but also a LOT of ER to maintain the burst that you definitely need while his shield scales off of HP. Kuki instead has no energy issues and has a passiv with which her heeling also scales off of EM. And freeze can situationally be really good because it‘s a strong utility reaction when it works so I‘d rank it higher
