The ULTIMATE Recap of Final Fantasy IV: Interlude (RECAPitation)

This game has definitely made a lot of fan theory about the summoners spin in my mind since Rydia is definitely of an otherworldly nature compared to the rest of her party. Think about it, the Maenads set up and are able to control the summoned monsters (eidolons) and the only other person that can do this is Rydia and whatever summoners were killed before FF4's beginning. Who were the progenitors of the summoners in FF4? Were the Maenads actually planted down on earth in Mist village in order to watch over the earth way before Rydia's time and perhaps during the time of her mother's conception? The hairstyle also suggests they are similar to Rydia, albeit less greenish probably due to genetics of Rydia's bloodline combining with perhaps the human and summoner/Maenad races. It's still not known who Rydia's father truly is. My theory is that it was Phoenix, and he was destroyed long ago as he was a perceived threat by Zemus sometime after Rydia was conceived in Mist village as an innocent child - he had to have been an eidolon himself though, conceiving Rydia similar to how Terra's Mother and Maduin did in FF6. Those are my theories at least... what's yours?

Sorry. But....Interlude was a Japan-only mobile game that was released in episodes. When SE decided to port IV to the PSP and include The After Years, it was suggested that they should put the full Interlude experience on the disc, and call it The Complete Collection. Included with the game were alternate costumes for Dissidia 012: Duodecim that had been recently released alongside various pots of other Final Fantasy games, including The Complete Collection and the Nintendo DS 3D remake of IV.

No it's not... that was The After Years. It was released on mobile in 2008 in 13 episodes and then Wii in 2009 with 9 tales. Then they put The After Years with Final Fantasy IV in the PSP remake and included a new small game called Interlude. Then after that in 2013 they remade the game for mobile in the same vein as the DS remake. Then they prlorted that onto Steam. So no Interlude did not come out on mobile phones and is exclusive to the PSP version

twoplus2 Haha, yeah its a bit of a joke. The name of the series is a little pun I made by combining Recapitulation and Decapitation, thus the common tag line "...cut it down to size with a RECAPitation."
