David, excellent video as always. You covered many things I never thought of. One area not covered, I think, was in the planning phase. That goes beyond the house buying process. Visiting the area and communities to see if it's a good fit or not. See what's available in that area beyond the house. Things like recreation, retail, schools, houses of worship, infrastructure, weather related issues , local laws and taxes, social/political climate, etc. The house you end up with might be awesome but other things might be unbearable. For me I struggle with the new gun law in SC, some of the odd taxes like vehicles as property being taxed annually, and cost taxes for different aspects of retirement income. The info you shared can be utilized just about anywhere. It's amazing the amount of stuff needs to be addressed in buying and selling a house. This is coming from someone who never had to go through the process. I know all of this will help others interested in moving in your area. You spelled out everything very well. Thanks again for spending the time to educate folks on this elaborate process.
