The Ultimate Repair for Disc Read Error

This Playstation 2 doesn't want to read discs and therefore won't play any games. Thankfully, there are a lot of ways to restore the gameplay functionality...even without fixing the disc read issue.
There are tons of guides to help mod PS2s with FreeMCBoot, I hope this helps someone out there looking to breathe new life into their old console. This is my first video about console mods so please let me know if you'd like to see more videos like this.

so I have a ps2 that had 6tb and OPL loaded.. although I don't use the disc drive, OPL freezes trying to load games... the only change is I've discovered the physical disc drive no longer reads disc.. Is that the cause of freezing isos somehow? How is it related?

Somone gave me one they found in the mud recently. I Detailed the heck outta it, and it works/ turns on. but the drive is dead, Im about to do Exactly this, but it would be nice getting the drive working again.
