This video took us so long to edit, about 3 weeks. Whew... thank you all for being patient with us. This whole trip driving from the east coast to the west coast was not a walk in the park. Also, you will see in the coming weeks what we've been up to and where we are living. How come no one told us it would be super hard to find a place to rent now a days. Wow! We love you all and thank you again! A+B

Just finished watching your vlogs from the beginning to now and can only say that I've grown more in my admiration for your relationship with every single one. I don't know if I've ever seen a deeper and more trusting love. Your honesty and openness with each other, not to mention with yourselves as individuals, is to be lauded, and the way you've grown together in the past five years is incredible. Keep it up guys. Thanks for sharing with us. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Road tripping across the country is fun. You get to see amazing and wondrous places and meet some sweet people along the way. But it also can be taxing on your mental and physical health. I am glad you both had the opportunity to experience this trip. Adam, push Bernardo to get a driver’s license. I think the drive would’ve been easier if you both took turns driving. Love you both! 💙💙
@Stepsof2Foreigners
@Stepsof2Foreigners 2 жыл бұрын
It was also taxing for our pockets with all the hotels we had to stay in and also with the gas prices. 😅 Yeah, now that we're sort of settled, getting an American driver's license is going to be Bernardo's priority. Thanks so much for watching the video! Lots of love your way!! 💙💙
@amitlal310
@amitlal310 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, lol. The expenses of driving across the country is definitely taxing, especially when our country is going through inflation right now. I tend to categorize that portion in the mental health area because the price of things can create anxiety and stress. I’m glad to hear you both are getting settled in and making it a priority for Bernardo to get his driver’s license. :)

And Bernardo, your comment “here we are changing our clothes in the Cracker Barrel parking lot, that’s when you know you’ve made it”🤣. Custer State Park, the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument are amazing! My husband, son and I have visited 3 times. The hiking is great and views are beautiful! Maybe one day you can get back for a visit! However, I think you both need a break from traveling! Hope you have been able to find a nice home and are getting settled in in Washington State! Take care guys! Much love and big hugs!

That was beautiful, the box home in Montana, what a view. U trailed along the Greenbelt of America which is nice. Try it again in a minivan with two drivers US certified drivers, lol. Take a makeshift bed, a single mattress of foam. I drove from Toronto to Vancouver and back. Brought my bike too. I remove the seats, the second and third row from my Ford Windstar van, it was relatively brand new. Beautiful smooth ride because of the long wheelbase. The new minivans have seats that can go totally flat and then you have a huge cargo space. I know everybody loves SUVs but minivans are so much more practical. Particularly if you two get into nesting and furnishing and renovating, way smarter lol.

Congrats for making it across the USA. In 2003 I drove from Connecticut to San Diego,3000 miles, and I was solo. It took me 9 days or so as I didn't stop to sight see. This video looked less clear ,and was a bit disorganized. It was very dark in the Motel rooms .all that driving and staying in so many different places can be stressful.

I thought the B&B in Wisconsin was pretty, but the squeaking floors and door gave me the creeps as well. The 2.0 place in Boise is definitely a no when I saw the blood stains on the lamp. I have done a roadtrip from Quebec City to Mt Rushmore, Yellowstone, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches (Moab), Denver, St-Louis, return to Quebec City. Using Interstate 90 to go west, and 70 to go back east. A lot of fun and discovery, and also, a lot of ugly motels :)

Hey guys, as always I enjoyed the video. Muito muito I love the evolution of your relationship. You two are getting very funny!! I enjoy the candor and the vulnerable moments you include. Sharing Bernardo's tears when you left Maine pulled the heartstrings but gave insight into the depth of connection you make with place.... I wish you two many more memories in your new space and for years to come Abraços

There's sooooo many things i wanna sat about this video. Congrats on completing the journey firstly. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us. I absolutely loooooved the snippets of car music throughout the video (all my jams). The underwear hack was hilarious. Lol. Can't wait to see what's next. As always, stay safe on your travels 🤗🤗.

Hello from Leesburg. Glad you guys made it safely. 27 days huh! When I was 24 I drove from Maine to San Diego and three and a half days. And I didn't get a ticket either. Somehow two guys pulling up their pants in a car sounds familiar. Have a great time in your new location.

You really should have spent several days in western South Dakota to see Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Spearfish Canyon, and Deadwood. That area of South Dakota is spectacularly beautiful. Though it was out of your way, the North Shore drive in Minnesota along Lake Superior is an incredible site too, plus it has some lighthouses, and Gooseberry falls to see there.

I cried when my husband and I left our apartment in Paris after 10yrs to come back to the States. COVID was just starting and we have/had elderly family that we were afraid we'd never see again if we got stuck and couldn't travel back and forth. Thankful in the end we did, but Paris will always be our home. Shipped everything home and did a cross Atlantic cruise then 12 day drive to Los Angeles. I know how you feel, but grateful that I did it with the man I trust, rely and love by my side. Can't wait for your new adventures..🌈❤️🌈❤️

Great video guys!! But in Minneapolis you missed the Stone Arch Bridge - it was the next bridge downstream from the one you were looking at. At 11:49 you can see it under the middle span. And if you come back in January I bet Bernardo doesn't say 9 and a half!!

Dudes, you were right in my backyard. Could have given you a sweet deal in my Airbnb mancave, located south of the Badlands, then gone on to the Black Hills and saved yourself the time from backtracking from Hot Springs. That trip from Rapid City to Billings is a long one. The Black Hills are a favorite tourist destination. Road tripping can be fun, but exhausting at the same time. Great video editing.

I've always wanted to drive cross country. Doing something just like this, stopping at certain areas for a few days. I liked that this video seems more realistic than the others I've watched. Showing that it's not all fun but it can be very tiring as well.
