The Ultimate Royal Enfield - Royal Enfield Continental GT - The 120 Year Anniversary Edition

To celebrate a 120 years since the first Royal Enfield was built in Redditch under the name, The Enfield Cycle Company, Royal Enfield produced a limited Edition Interceptor 650 and a Continental GT 650. When I first saw them I was impressed and like many others entered the raffle for the opportunity to buy one. Unfortunately that chance didnt come my way but I happen to know a man who was lucky than me. Stephan, has allowed me to ride his Continental GT 120 year Limited Edition.

That ride made me smile 😁😁. Wonderful! The 650 is fast enough for most roads isn't it? There is no other family of bikes that I like as much 👍👍. They look great, sound great and with aftermarket shocks they handle very well also. The 120th anniversary edition is a beauty. Primitive and visceral 😁😁.

I could happily have every model of Royal Enfield in my garage. This 120th anniversary model would be sat in my living room, so I could just look at it before wheeling it out for rides. Another great video TAYM 😀

Little story.. Before I got myself the new classic 350, was keen on getting a Himy and was on test ride on 2nd hand one from a online selling place. The dude was crazy. He had from every RE model at the time. The interceptor in red-crome, the same limited edition continental GT and limited edition classic 500 black .. I was to test the Himy but my eyes was on the classic. But he did not want to sell it at all ! They are keepers !😁😁

Marvellous, it's a bike I fancied the second I first saw one, though I never realised just how exclusive they were. Absolutely gorgeous looking and sounding with those Scorpion exhausts. Steven is indeed a very lucky man to have the pleasure of owning and riding it 👍😁

I have 16 of 60 of the RE Interceptor here in the U.S. Thank your friend for allowing you to ride and review his GT, not many of either have been shown on KZbin. I love the Scorpion silencers, can’t get them in black here or shipped here unfortunately.

A lovely bike TAYM but I could see it was bringing out the naughty boy TAYM. I think that black chrome finish would give me anxiety I'm precious enough now about my Bonneville I'd want to wrap that tank in cotton wool before I took it out incase anyone put fingerprints on it. 🤣

Don't get me wrong, the world has a growing place for the Royal Enfield range. They are doing a great job at bringing motorcycling to a broader audience. But I've got to say, if I see another "blacked out" motorcycle, I hope it's the last. For my eye, it should be called "cheaped out". And every manufacturer is guilty of the same crime against the visual senses. Give me polished aluminium and chrome, any day of the week.

Very nice haven't seen one of these in the flesh yet TAYM although my preference would be the Inter , it is a lovely looking bike my only reservation really is the seat unit and how it looks with the rest of the bike. I think it's the way it finishes at the back with the frame and mudguard to me it somehow doesn't gel but how that could change I really am not sure . The black just looks perfect and the brown too a much better look than a chrome tank for me but at near as damn it £25,000 just to much for any bike .😉👌👍

Government uses the argument of confusing road speeds against you. 60/50/40/30/20 confusing for user, saver to make everything 20 mhp. Its easier and saver to go 20 mhp all the time. So don't say that again if you Ike a little speed. The extended rear light and license plate looks off.
