To further correct you OG okita alter (before she was okita alter) was Majin Saber, a fusion between Nobunaga and Okita in their comic series. While in FGO is only okita her appearance and personality are exactly the same as the fusion pretty sure.

@@studioJURJ From what I gathered they are mostly a joke manga series, but do have serious moments. To correct myself from earlier, the series is Fate/KOHA-ACE but the main issue with trying to read them is that they are full of a bunch of niche japanese terms and references, so as far as I can tell it hasn't been translated/hasn't been fully translated. Cause while it is the origin of alot of servants before fgo (Okita, Nobu, and MOST of the Gudaguda servants) due to them all being japanese there's alot of hard to translate jokes/stuff like that as I mentioned earlier. The best I can compare it to is like F/GO's Learning with the Manga, but was way before that (as some of it's jokes/gags were used in Carnival Phantasm, that's how long ago it was). Fate has the general issue of yes there's alot of content, but alot of it is locked off from the rest of us English speaking audiences due to lack of translation sadly.

You forgot Artoria Lily, and Castoria. For those who are curious, both of them are younger than the most of the saber faces with either Artoria Lily or Jalter Santa Lily being the youngest out of all of them. Castoria is basically an "if" Artoria where she has Merlin as her teacher (And she's a really OP support servant in FGO) All of the saber face alters aren't evil, the only exception being the normal Jalter due to her rebellious nature and her rare campaign banner 7:40 the one chasing Jalter Santa Lily is Jack the Ripper (Assassin class) Whether you believe it or not, the Lancartorias are actually younger than the usual Artorias & Alterias. But due to their physical appearance affecting one's mentality, they tend to be more mature/open than the usual ones though nonetheless their personalities don't differ much There's a running gag where Emiya counts as Artoria's wife and Mordred's mother. If you're familiar with the Fate franchise, you know what I mean Despite the genders, Mordred refers to Artoria as her "Father" and "King" whilst Artoria acknowledges Mordred as her "Son" but not a legitimate/proper heir to the thrones Jeanne d'Arc herself isn't vengeful despite getting burned alive by her people Jeanne d'Arc Alter was made by Gilles de Rais (Caster class) during one of the first main singularities in Fate Grand Order (Mobile Game) where he recreates a post-burned Jeanne d'Arc in his own image I don't know much about the MHXs, but she's actually pretty decent in quests with saber class enemies despite her having an assassin class Funny how Lancartorias got into the Lancer class instead of the Rider class Just a random question, if a Lancartoria and a Sabertoria (without Avalon, of course) were to be summoned in a Holy Grail War, who would win in a fight? (Disregard the class advantage, focus on their lores)

Oooh, there's more text here than in the actual video. But I dig it! A lot of people commenting about the exclusion of Saber Lily. Outside of the scene from Saber Wars where she uses her NP on Blackbeard's crotch, I didn't really find her that impactful to the franchise but I guess people really like her. I also don't think I was able to record footage of that scene to use if she were to be included. We did do a design for her and she's in the video @10:22. Castoria, on the other hand, was released in JP a month after the video came out. So an updated version of this video would be necessary sometime in the future. Lancartoria would win against Sabertoria I think. If you've fought Lanceartoria's final boss form in Cemelot quest, you'd know she's stupid strong. Harder than final boss in Solomon quest if you ask me.

My bet is on "The Sword of the Promised Victory", cause, you know, she even beat Gilgamesh on 1v1 with trash magus Shirou as a master. Also Artur Pendragon as a heroic spirit is obviously the strongest Saber, because he/she is the most famous sword user in the history, but the same can't be said about her using a spear. Barely 5% of the people who know about king Author know what Rognominad even is

Okay it goes like this: "Saber" is a class, a class of spirit that made a legend usually by wielding a sword. The Saber we keep call the OG Saber is called Artoria Pendragon, irl we know them as King Arthur, they were the first Saber introduced to the series because of the visual novel, then it got an anime. Until the other fate depictions and stories got a depiction Artoria was the only saber we knew of. Grail wars are vicious so revealing the identity of a hero reveals weaknesses so instead of calling her Artoria or Arthur 24/7 we just called her "Saber" Every alternate version you see is because of how time works in the the Fate/ universe, if you flip a coin it lands 50/50, one heads, one tails; if a character makes a choice the timeline makes a path for that character so you have Lancer Artoria - The Artoria who traded her sword for a lance, and Saber Artoria - The Artoria who kept the sword. Artoria's face is pleasing for fans so other characters tended to share her face, the other characters like Mordred, Jeanne d'arc, Nero, etc just share her face for this reason (except Mordred, she's Artoria's "son")

@@jotarokujo312 Funny how that works in Fate. Artoria aka Saber, is a woman but when she drew the sword she concealed her gender thus in Fate people only knew her as legend as the King. In the Arthurian legend you should be aware of Morgan Le Fey, in Fate she is the Half-sibling of Artoria, since Artoria is married to Gwenevere who was queen of Camelot they were expected to have kids but here is where the story gets weird. The most common theory is that Saber was temporarily given a wang by Merlin to make sperm and have a baby, Morgan La Fey stole a sample and mixed it with an ovum from her and made Mordred, a thing to know about Mordred is that she is a Homonculus so she aged pretty fast. She was raised to practically worship Arthur as a king and do all he wishes and when Morgan revealed that he was her father she was practically happy, when she brought this up with Arthur however, he rejected her and never acknowledged her as her child. Mordred got mad and later waged a rebellion. As for the son and father thing, at the time it was not possible for women to have positions of power or become knights, so they pretended to be male, which they somehow hid so well that Mordred still refers to Artoria as Father which later just becomes a habit in FGO if they ever interact.

@Twistii Cuber coming from someone who plays the game (f2p) unironically: no. FGO is comparable to Raid Shadow Legends in how money-hungry and gacha reliant it is. its sr/ssr rates are shit, and even if you get Servants who are considered ‘top tier’, most of them aren’t worth it because they’re usually trash anyway until you max them out (which takes so much grinding that you would be more productive doing basically anything else). gameplay is so rng-reliant (look at Stheno and why the community hate her so much) that numbers are usually your only defense. and usually the enemy’s got enough of those to one-shot you if you don’t spend enough time grinding to level your Servants. so, at the end of the day, enjoy the art, enjoy the community, but don’t play the game if you value your life and/or money.

Glad you liked the video! Jeanne being a magical girl is a reference to her archer class. In her 3rd ascension form she goes from a swimsuit into a magical girl outfit. Mordred having a big appetite is from Fate/Apocrypha where she's just always eating. It's ok if you dont remember, I try to forget the series exists sometimes.

I don't have her myself so it's just always seemed like a holy maiden style outfit to me, and I went to double check her profile online and it doesn't say anything about magical girls either :c And ah, yea I did enjoy Apocrypha and remember her eating, but it wasn't very on focus or commonly brought up as much as Artoria, even in fanworks, so I didn't feel like it's much of a main trait ^^;

@@MaidoNyxi Ah, I could have been referring to Jeanne's Fate/Extella costume as being magical girl and mixed it up with her archer form. I'm not a super expert on Fate franchise like I am with Gundam (stay tuned for a possible fgo x gundam mash up).

@@studioJURJ ah I see, yea I just looked it up and she does have a magical girl costume in Extella, but it's not really a major thing and could be misleading in an informative video ^^; And I see! Sounds pretty cool, I'm no expert on Gundam though but I hope you have fun making it! Some relatable stuff I could think of is that there's some giant robot fights in upcoming story chapters in FGO too (currently only in the JP version) + giant golem battles if that counts xD If you do make an updated Saberface video, I'd love to see Arthur Pendragon and Caster Artoria there too. A human Artoria that is a Master also exists in a short spinoff manga but idk much about her. (Oh and as for Okita Alter, she's not evil! She's just an agent of the counter guardian, like Archer in Stay Night)
