I'm fortunate to know the guys behind the RC Light Systems products and I do own quite a few of their products. I second they are very well made, and extremely well thought bits of kit. (and there is more to come)

I have their 3S charge board and it’s brilliant! I use it all the time and it makes charging so easy. Just need them to bring out 4S and 6S versions now! Great video thanks Martin 👍

Lol, I wondered what you were talking about "1500 use" - uS - microseconds 😊😊 Nicer bit of kit than the elder variety 😄

Yeah, debated how to do that, figured, make it easy, read it as people see it lol

The little ISDT chargers are great Martin, I use those for field charging and my big Revolectrix chargers at home :-)

Great Tool ! Great Presentation! Pity that the Screen is sooo tiny. It would have been easy to fit a display with better visibility and larger size.

Can this be used to set my Hitec 7950th servo arm to 90° center without using subtrim on the radio?
@MartinPickering-PickeringRC4 жыл бұрын
No, it is only a momentary tester, if you need to program you would need the Hitec programmer

Hello Martin very nice video. In your opinion whats the best sevvo manufactory? I'm building a 2m flying wing at the moment and since it only uses 2 servos I might as well go for the best. Since I'm new in the hobby I don't really know which are good tho :(
@MartinPickering-PickeringRC4 жыл бұрын
Hi Peter, there are many options, depends if it is an electric wing, a turbine wing, a combat wing... Personally I use MKS as I feel they are the best, specific servo will depend on specific use... (possibly going in your case for speed over torque)

Will this work on all servo ??, do you leave it hook up ??
@MartinPickering-PickeringRC4 жыл бұрын
Will work with any servo yes. It is intended as setup tool, so dont leave it inside the model no

Hey Martin love your videos, I have a question you might shed some light on regarding servo jitters. I’m running MKS HBL 550s all around on a 33 percent plane. The elevator servos are jittering quite a bit especially around center position. Any thoughts? He leads are about 36” long. I was thinking maybe about 25 percent expo might help? However I usually don’t fly with any expo. Thanks!
@MartinPickering-PickeringRC2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, sounds like two different issues. Jitters, and overly responsive elevator? Which is it? =)
@roymills4152 жыл бұрын
@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC So, very jittery on elevator especially around center position, might be a bad servo, the MKS are very strong but loud. I don’t care about the noise but the jitter is significant, almost like 3 to 4 mm uncommanded movement throughout a 20 degree range. I can use this servo on unimportant position like choke if this is the problem.

@@roymills415 can you try plugging one directly into one of the outputs on your powerbox and check if they are the same? Also what voltage are you running them at?

@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC Jeti R12, R5, dual path mode with 5200 8.2V receiver packs, parallel, dual redundancy on flight packs. I’ll let you know what I find, will also check separate output pin (receiver port) on Rex12. Thanks

@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC So latest attempts, tried three different ports on RX, same jitter, tried direct input servo to receiver, same jitter. There’s no slop on control surface, solid hinged line, solid 4-40 turnbuckle, steel arms etc. Going to swap servo out see if I can duplicate problem. Appears 550 can handle the long lead to tail no problem.

Great video as always! Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately, I cannot find the setup tool here - www.rclightsystems.com May I ask you to point out the correct URL where this part can be purchased? Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
