I think fixing old guitars as opposed to buying new is a trend that should grow in popularity.

Vroom ! Also I'm so with you on the Kluson Safe Ti Posts, it's a shame they're almost only installed on fender style , 6 inline headstocks. It also removes the risk of ruining your gig bag lining with string ends, which has happened to me with several bags. It looks like nowadays their only 3x3 models are the Mosrite ones and the variant of the concept made by Duesenberg.

For securing smaller ferrules in larger holes I usually use paper masking tape or if I'm feeling really special - teflon plumbers tape. Works like a charm and is easier to remove the ferrules if the need occurs. Highly reccomend.

VROOM! LMAO Laughed so hard a couple of times watching this vid! Thanks man! Just finished fixing (or should I say, deep cleaning) a bass that I bought from a warehouse where they buy japanese "garbage" guitars etc, and was lucky that it's just dirty and its electronics are still working, albeit its single knob isn't turning lol With my current knowledge on how to fix a guitar, I'd probably cry when faced with the same situation.
