The "Unlikely Friendship" might also be a reference to Mario's friendship with Slender Man. First appearing in "My Best Friend Slenderman", the two become best friends over the course of the episode. He also appears in multiple episode afterwards, usually helping Mario and the gang. This would make sense, since Slenderman was seen as a threat by everyone, yet he seems surprisingly friendly with Mario.

This is so surreal. I've never watched SMG4, and I've been on KZbin almost every day for 10+ years. Assuming the Meggy theory, which says that the old Meggy was left in the island and replaced with human Meggy, it is possible that there would be a storyline where Meggy starts to melt, or an alternative would be for the old body to somehow resurface with a different entity, also another explanation for Meggie's survival is the plot armor theory, which would affect her because if their close friendship, personally I find Meggy to be the most interesting character and it is visibly seen that SMG4 might agree, since in recent years she is the singular most used character aside from the main ones (Mario and SMG4), so it would make sense for more plotlines involving her to come

The best episode humor-wise was "If Mario Ran Nintendo" in my opinion, though. Also, the arcs aren't fully focused on humor which is a nice change on some episodes, I really like the change of tone.

i remember i watched a lot of smg4 during 2012 until around 2015, when i thought his content at the time became too childish and obnoxious that relied on the same old memes. his videos prior to that i enjoyed because they were simple yet had great dark humor in the plots and dialogue, and despite the lack in continuity, they were clever and often left much to the imagination (if that makes any sense). so while i know almost next to nothing about most of the content in this iceberg, i have to say it was really engaging and in-depth with how much time and research was devoted to it. and it is nice to some of the older videos in there as those are the ones that carry huge amounts of nostalgia. it really is odd, yet fascinating with how smg4's content changed over the years, considering the smg4 i grew up with was a world of multi-colored marios with lakitu behind the camera (and i wonder if he still is in the recent videos?). it is unlikely that i will give his recent work a chance seeing as i grew out of that stuff years ago, but i wish him best luck in his future endeavors.

Not 100% sure about that since they have had "Fishy Bopkins" merch even though he is just a Mario Spike with a silly name. If they got in legal trouble for that, I don't know but I remember seeing them advertise it in a video.

@@kirby1781 yeah but boopkins is just a minor enemy that only appeared in like 5 games, Splatoon despite only having 3 entries is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises and inklings at all are an important part of it, so im sure they would care if he tried releasing merch with her old design And it could be worse with Mario (that's why in the 10th anniversary poster it's only his skeleton lol)

I think when shaggy had to find meggy on the island as it blew up , it wa stage smae meggy , using her remaining body parts that were not unknown, bones , brains and her hat and goggles and quickly made her again with his powers and put her hat and goggles on her . Meaning because her brain was carried over , so we’re her memories and she technically just has a new body Edit : he could have also used remains of Francis to build her not out of ink , meaning Francis’ parts are inside of meggy .
