Depends on what you shoot! Social media / travel / daily then the zv-e1 makes sense. Anything else, the fx30 will be a true workhorse!

From my experience and testing the 7artisans is a bit warmer than these but it is bigger and feels more solid. Focus gear is better too on the 7artisans so it’s a toss up on what you really need!

Hi! How’s the active stab for this? Not sure the camera can communicate with this lens since it needs to compensate for the focal length vs camera movement.

Pretty good! For manual lenses, you can set the active stabilization to a specific focal length for a more accurate result :)

I keep watching this because these lenses are SUPER tempting to get! One thing I haven't seen from anyone is do we have to factor in crop with these or are they fully adapted to APSC? For example, if I throw the 24mm onto my FX30, would the frame be a true 24mm or does it crop down into more like 35mm?

it'll be a 35mm (field of view / crop) but the compression will still look like a 24mm. Hope that makes sense!

I'm really interested into buy the 24mm but i have an FX3 and i was wondering if u tested all the 3 lenses on the full frame sensor because the vignette scares me lol , do you know if the black vignette have the same size on all the 3 lenses or is bigger on the 24 and 35 ? That was the 35mm I believe. I did test them all out and at 1.3x clear image zoom it clears the vignette but there's a bit of distortion on the corners. You'd still be better off with 1.4 or 1.5x crop!! Hope that helps dude!!

thanks for the video friend, listen like many people I am undecided between the fx30 and a6700 and I want to make the right decision, my main question is, CINE EI is a noise reducer, the fx30 I understand I don't know if wrong, is it superior to the 6700 in that sense? Does the fx30 generate less noise because it has an EI cine ? help

I bought the a6700 and it's gonna be delivered on the 3rd! I will make a comparison video vs the FX30 and that should help with the decision making. Cine EI isn't a noise reducer but it's utilizing the base ISO of the camera which is 800 and 2500 that will make the image look cleaner. If you stick with flexible ISO like the a6700 you'll be able to match the ISO 800 and 2500 with the fx30. It's the same sensor! Ultimately, the a6700 will behave the same way as the FX30. It just has a lot more newer features. Hope that helps!
