I'd consider myself a light to mid spender in most gachas,. And that is the area where a guide on best purchasing practices tends to be most needed. If you're going f2p you ignore a shop in its entirety. If you're a major whale you likely buy everything. But someone either looking to see if there's a single monthly thing that's the best value, or who is looking to make a few purchases--either over time or to patron a game--has to think about what they are doing. Based off of what I'm seeing here, it looks like getting the battle pass, the two gazettes, and possibly the growth bundle seems a solid starting point. In Canada that's 28 + 28 + 40 = 96. That's a couple dollars more than buying a new game here from a triple A developer. It does mean that if I want to continue with these things that I'd be paying $28 a month and $28 per 75 days as long as I'm playing, but it's generally pretty easy to see whether I'm still invested in the game when those come around.

Most of the packs are pretty expensive for what they give. Theres a few winners, and the passes seem to be very worth. Good for lower spenders like me 👍

I have been wondering for quite awhile, is the value of the 3000 crystal actually worse than the value of 1480 crystals? According to the SGD prices, every dollar gives you 21.46 crystal for 1480 crystal pack but every dollar only gives you 20.14 crystal for the 3000 crystal pack

He is right, light spender range between 5-100 USD. Why are people so surprise xD. Medium and high spender will spend several hundreds or thousands of dollars.

I think light spender is $5-20 a month absolute max - monthly pass stuff and occasional skins or spmething only. On the high end, that's already $240 a year. To spend more than that and call it light spending is insane.

I think you are talking straight up bullshit. 5-100 every month. Between 5 and 100 the difference is big. 2nd of all Light spender means basically a pass so 5-20 buck max. There are gachas where I myself spend 100-200 a month but calling that light spending is just denial of the facts.. The fact that peope normalize this kind of prices and predatory behaviour, shows how down bad they are unfortunately.

@@KirigayaHayato light spending is a range because everyone has different take - 20 bucks might be light spending for you, but to another person 200 bucks a month is light spending, he’s not telling you that you’re wrong. He just trying to provide as useful a guide to as big a range of spenders without stepping into whaling range spending of thousands. That’s reasonable why clutch so tight to defining what is light spending, just take what is relevant to you

hey man 100 dollars a month is light. or mainly the monthly purchases in any game is light. call it keep up price. anything above is mid spending such as buying pop up packs and such as u described, when you dabble in buying dragon crystals for shop bundles that's high spending, and whaling is buying most/all. as for all who think 100 a month is a lot. you can do a pay in 3 cut it into 3 monthly instalments or just earn more. spend what you can and don't judge those who can afford. spend your money the way you want.

i dont think anyone should buy anything from the shop with the those crystal currencies they are so expensive. The 2 monthly passes are pretty damn good and so is the secret travelogue. the pop-up bundles are decent in GBP most are £0.99 - £2.50 those are good! if you're gonna spend id recommend at least the diamond monthly pass and the secret travelogue. basically £20 every 2 months ish - that's a real light spender not £50 - £100 a month jesus!!!

I bought the two 30 day things and the pass which was like 40€, i think its fair to say light spender is up to 50 but it doesnt really matter anyway haha ur advice is solid no matter what

up to a 100 is still light spending as its mostly "must buy" packs if you decide to spend in most gacha games. if you go around 100 - 200 /month that's medium spender. up to 1k is dolphin and anything beyond that could be considered whaling. exact threshhold isnt really defined though and depends a bit on what game it is and the community it has. Though i say this estimate is pretty decent.@@Darkpsy97
