I watched some of your videos last night and today I not only french braided my own hair but did a Dutch French braid on my mom's hair! Also wanted to say it was very refreshing to watch a how-to video that gets right to the point and then explains everything in simple detailed instructions that match exactly to what was being shown in the video. I just tried the fishtail braid by myself on my very, very long and very full head of hair lol. It looks a bit messy, but I did it! First time ever! I love it. Before this, I could only do a regular braid, which my aunt taught me when I was pretty young. I tried to figure out how to do a French braid for years, but I never could do it correctly.... now I can do French, Dutch, Fishtail Rope, and their double versions no problem! I am going to try Infinity later tonight.

I was a hairstylist for over a decade (b4 becoming too ill to work), yet STILL can't french braid!! Granted, I did specialize in color, but I also did cuts and styling. The owners of both salons I worked for had never had anyone build clientele so quickly. My point is..I'm confident in my hairstyling capabilities & know I was a great stylist... With everything except braids and updo's, that is. Lol I'm my opinion, updo's & such require a completely diff skill set. I'm sure most of my clients never had a clue I couldn't french braid. On the rare occasion a client requested an updo, (usually just during prom season), I made sure they knew that my skills did not include updo's! My main prob is holding onto & manipulating large amounts of hair at a time. Every time I've attempted to french braid, it always ended up being a Dutch braid.
