Nice concept. Can't duplicate it cause your doing everything off camera. Please remake the video for us newbies. Tnx

This is an UNUN, not a BALUN. Nonetheless, nice work...

While the 16:1 is at the balanced feed of a T2FD you are correct that the others are for unbalanced antennas.

how about posting the schematic?73.

Didn't see any point as it was only done as an experiment to see if it would work. I still have found no use for the 25:1 and 36:1 settings and the case is not waterproof due to holes drilled. I simply use it to determine the best balun/unun for the antenna and then construct one with the appropriate type.

Hello, interesting assembly. I would like to know if you have been able to measure the final result with a Nano VNA or similar. Thanks for your contribution

Sort of I used a variable resistor that I adjusted to the required resistance using a multi meter to verify the approximate resistance for each position. Unfortunately I lost the footage for that video I will have to re-record it all from scratch at a future date.

What is the number and size or toroids

Sorry forgot to mention that. I used FT240-31 for the common mode choke and FT240-43 for the switching balun. Also the capacitor was a 100pf 3KV.

Hey John, this is awesome stuff But it would be great if you could center the camera and let us see the winding process. Thanks
