I've been theorycrafting this build all weekend and I finally had time to get it all put together for a video! It started back when I recorded my last video and now I think I've got it locked in...but it’s a weird one, thoughts?

If you the enemy team is particularly physical Damage heavy drop the tainted bastion for Stonewall.

I thought rampage was super lackluster in 0.18 due to all the crazy damage getting thrown around (and aurora being a big pain in the neck). Saw this video, switched fire blossom out for frostguard and citadel. Night and day difference. Great video!

Nice vid, love seeing the tank jungle content. I recommend giving magic crunch a second look. I'm currently cooking with a prophecy start into plasma blade and mutilator. Nuclear rounds and oathkeepr fit well into a fourth and fifth but I'm struggling to find a sixth. Currently running overlord as the capstone.

I’m not very sold on it just yet, I think where I would build it maybe 3rd or 4th on Phys Damage bruisers I’d rather use citadel. I think citadel is kinda OP atm

I absolutely love ur videos. I watched the other tank build guide also and i use some of them tips for my riktor build. Which im kinda a noob but i did wonder if citadel would work on sevarog or is that a no?

I’m severely on the fence with using Citadel on magic power tanks. On one hand the physical power stat is mostly wasted but I think the item is bloated with its passives so it may still be a viable option.

You should give Sev another look with these new/reworked items and see if you think he could possibly be a bit better or not compared to Ramp in terms of tankyness.

Well sev will always outscale most tanks and become super tanky but I’m not a fan of him in the jungle and he has a bit of a slow curve to power

Playing tank is such a sad experience on the new patch, lots of physical armor shredding, HP scaling dmg, and anti-heal just make me suffering so much

how vanguard? have you tested it ? does it stack?

I haven’t tested vanguardian, if the passive applies to the wearer as well it could be something to play with but I’m not sure what item I would cut. I was considering Galaxy greaves as well but not sure I can fit the support tank items as they are a bit lower in cost and efficacy.

Frostguard ain't it imo. 3150 gold is way too much for the stats you're getting. The old Frostguard was way better. 200 hp, 50 Phy armor, 250 mana, 15 haste, and the passive Aoe 10% slow for 3k gold vs 45 Phy armor, 30 Mag armor, and 75% base hp regen for 3150 gold. The current Frostguard is objectively less gold efficiency. You're better off going for Vanguardian. Its similar stats to Frostguard, (passive gives you 42 Phy armor and 40 Mag armor), but its 550 gold cheaper which is massive if you ask me. Plus, you get 20% tenacity and the passive aura will also give your teammates extra tank stats. You could easily go for the same build you have listed by just swapping out Frostguard for Vangaurdian. If I'm gonna build an hp-less tank item, I'd rather it come cheap.

I could be wrong but the way vanguardian reads would suggest only the allied heroes get the additional armor, so it’s low armors for low cost and it doesn’t have the anti-attack speed which is very valuable to me. I thought about this a lot, I’ll 100% be buying frost guard on all tanks. It’s just too much value to pass up regardless of what the old item used to be since that’s irrelevant now.

​@Krashy the attack speed slow depends somewhat on enemy comp, but it's insanely powerful against more auto heavy ADs, jungles and offlanes. Against an opposing khai, grux, etc. It's fantastic for jungle 1v1s. Not sure if it's worth 2nd iteming, bit definitely feels good

@@Krashy Update: It turns out that Vangaurdian's passive doesn't apply to the user, only your teammates. The item isn't worth at that point. Looks like Frost guard is the move. It sucks that they made tank items less gold efficient with the new patch. Looks like a bruiser meta is upon us.
