Lost the LOFT :(

We made some changes to bring the sleeping number and seat belt number closer together. We wanted to be sure everyone had a safe place to travel.

@@ThorMotorCoach People don't sit in the loft during traveling, they sleep in the loft at their destination. Are you going to add seat belts to the king size bed? Lofts are standard amenity in toy haulers, know one is going to have a golf cart that touches the loft. Lofts are often used to store bulky items as well. So Thor in sense removed storage capacity as well. No sink covers, floppy screens as doors in the back, come on. What else is Thor going to remove for more profits?

@@threeftr3349 Good morning. The change was based on safety. Our valued owner's safety is priority number one. We did not want more people traveling in the coach than the number of seat belts available. By removing that sleeping area we did all we could to assure everyone staying in the vehicle had a safe place to sit and travel. I hope that helps out.

How awesome would it be if Thor would influence Ford to outfit the F53 chassis with the 6.7 Powerstroke. Imaging a class A front engine diesel, it would be a game changer. That is the thing I can figure out with these big Class A gas models, 30,000 lb GVWR, no engine braking, only mid 400s for torque and needing to fill up at a gas pump….. uggghhh

The only thing I will complain about is the screens as doors. Those have got to be doors that close even when the back is open so if you want to put a couple kids back there and put a couple extra beds but still have the deck open, so it’s not so hot back there. I’ve seen other campers that have them. I’m really surprised you didn’t put our doors are sliding glass doors or whatever on the back because those screens are gonna let him so much heat that no one will be able to be back there during the summer.

That is my hang up too. It's a safety thing. Anyone can walk in that garage when the patio is down and who wants to put it up and down every day?

Have you noticed they are taking things out of this class A, and probably making it more expensive. A 2,000 lb garage capacity is not big deal upgrade. Many many toy haulers already has a 2,500 lb capacity. Its all about how much profits Thor can squeeze out of customers.

Love the idea of the "essentials only" model...but the King Bed is premium. Is the Wild West Edition offered in the K and M? While the loss of the loft is not great, it is easy to understand saving the payload and the ceiling height for the toys.

When will that 12 foot garage with a 2,500 lb wt capacity, and that diesel engine come to fruition? Not everyone is driving on flat roads. Come on Thor stop being so cheap, listen to people, even a 10 yr old toy hauler has a 12 ft and a 2,500 lb capacity. Your not getting any of those popular UTVs in that garage..
