Honestly if you wanted to do this challenge, you should try out Blackwings. They can make 3 "Black-Winged Assault Dragon" Tax Dragons who make you pay 2100 life everytime your opponent activates a monster effect

As a only DM deck player the Harpyie´s are pissing me off the most in Duel Links. But its just crazy how different the playstyles are in the two different games or did he messed up here? I would use an other card combination for sure.

He tributed dark magician before the spell could activate and dark magician needs to be on the field in order for the spell to trigger

No, it was the Magicians' Combination that negated it. Dark Magician just needs to be summoned to use the Dark Magical Circle banish effect. As long as the Dark Magical Circle effect was activated, it does not matter where Dark Magician goes; it will still have the banish effect.

Too bad your opponent didn't know how to use magician's combination correctly as he negated his own card to bring out dark magician girl. Which he didn't have to do at all. He could've banished you monster then destroy the other one in he next turn which then he would've won the game because you had no more monsters. Your opponent beat himself without even thinking.
