Great review Mike. I'm slowly rounding up monitor reviews to eventually pick one up next year and this looks really good. Love the minimalistic design and the stand.

Hey Mike! Great job on this review. I had a question for you. I really love this monitor and I'm curious about the KVM. I have a 2018 macbook pro (work) and a 2015 macbook pro (personal). The 2015 macbook pro has an hdmi input and mini display inputs. I heard you need to use the same connections for both computers in order for the KVM to run smoothly. Is that true? I'm not sure exactly what cabling you are using to hook up your mac mini and your macbook, I'm wondering if you're using hdmi from the monitor and usb-c to your machines? Sorry for all the questions, just would love to know your setup a bit more. Thanks in advance. And again, awesome review!

Hey Mike I love your product reviews, I'm avidly looking for anew monitor and I love this set up with the peripherals and ability to switch's between multiple computer such s a laptop and windows. I was wondering if you had any recommendation of a newer product with similar features to check out or if this is still the best Choice! Thanks!

Too bad that the monitor does not come with TB 3. And also that you can't use USB 3.1 (HighSpeed) when using 10Bit. Why do not you think of something like that? Terrible. I'll probably send it back :-(

Great review! Tried to source the PD3420Q already in Europe/Belgium and it seems it will only be available in Q2 2021... So really torn between waiting for this or just getting another option... Really love the KVM capabilities... Could you highlight how/if KVM works in PbP mode with e.g. laptop on one side and the desktop on the other side?

Just returned mine after a week of using it. It just does not worth the price. Speakers sound are horrible. PIP and PBP are useless as it distorts the image. Video also does not look the best. Great quality construction, but it performs poorly.

Your review is terrible . You did not even once try to measure the brightness / color gamut or accuracy of the monitor . You did not even try to check the backlight bleed . You didn't even compare the monitor to any other similar screens like laptops . All you did is just read through the specs sheet and marketing blurbs and blindly pass it without verifying it with tests .

are you ok? if you want more detailed reviews there's always more technical channels out there

@@MikeWat All the technical reviewers only review high refresh rate models , so those who wants technical reviews of professional monitors like that BenQ are screwed over .
