Mr. Siwak’s case has always stuck with me for some reason. He was a totally innocent person who was murdered because he didn’t know English, and was different than the people in the neighborhood he was in. I don’t think we’ll ever find the killer, but I also doubt the shooter is still alive/not in prison. He almost certainly got verbally accosted by 4 or more young men who attacked him after he didn’t know English.

Fun vid as always, I thought the Harappan one was super interesting as well. Always cool to see these moments in fields like archaeology that manage to turn up something totally unexpected, hopefully one day they can maybe turn up their own "Rosetta stone" for that language. Tbh would love to see you go the route Wendigoon initially intended where he was gonna pick out things from the conspiracy iceberg to make videos on, cause there are definitely a lot of entries in these vids that are really interesting, and have looked deeper on, but definitely think you would do the single topics justice

In the case of the murder in Alaska, the suspect was arrested cause he'd worked for the boat's owner and left in very bad terms after a strong argument about money, so police alleged he had motive. This happened right at the closing of fishing season, and that was why everybody was partying, especially the group on the next boat. The end of the season meant everybody had their pockets full of money, which added to the alleged motive.

Killed, yes, but not murdered, according to the statistics. The city wanted to not include them as 'murdered', as it was a massive, one off event, in order not to skew the crime statistics for future years.
