Blue ocean strategy for finding a niche is actually more like finding a problem and using your knowledge of the broader market to create the solution. Their example is using beer culture to sell wine. The later variations were using couch surfing culture to rent your spare room. Using collaborative communities/sponsorship to sell farm vegetables. You find a problem you want to solve or product you want to sell and you barrow a method from a different industry or culture. For example: you like cooking, you want to create a cooking channel but it's saturated. You find a specific cuisine, you find a unique delivery method, for example meal prep for outdoor enthusiasts. So you mix in calory and nutrition needs for someone that needs for hiking or biking or trecking for a day. So your video structure will be: pick a trail, how many meals, how many calories, meal prep in most efficient way and make sure it is climate safe, then you assemble food in nature, pretty spot, cinematic setting, etc. Yes, you niched to outdoors people, but people interested in travel also benefit, people that love nature from their couch also watch, people thay love food prep and cooking also watch. And your niche is basically taking cooking/meal prep and mixing with outdoor activities, food storage, and nutrition facts. Just more esthetically pleasing. (You know this will work because outdoor channels, adventure channels, and fitness channels get huge views, and you're just throwing them in a blender and finding a novel presentation for the mix). Along th same line: cooking beach picnics with local ingredients, RV/small kitchen cooking, off-grid family cooking, day in a life of a competition trainees and how you can use similar tactics to get lean plus it has sexy people (micros, food, exercise, making money).

I loved your channel; I found it by coincidence on KZbin, and congratulations because you deliver more content than many channels. I chose the movie recap niche at the end of 2023 because I saw a video on KZbin of a guy who monetized it. The problem is that it's very difficult to rank videos in this niche, apart from the work involved in narrating and editing to avoid copyright. Do you have any tips for me? As far as I can tell, this movie recap niche is currently very saturated.

I would honestly avoid that niche, not only is it very saturated, there are also a lot of creators getting sued.

@@Victorcatrina_ Thank you. I suspected it was already saturated. KZbin even allows uploads of movies as long as they're educational, so I haven't faced any major problems. I'm going to watch more of your videos to get more ideas for other niches that might be easier to monetize.

it's actually depends on your niche and type of video. But in average it's about 2-4 videos per week
