Just listened to this episode in the car last night and found it so helpful. The tip about commenting on other creators' videos in a meaningful way is such a smart one. We get so caught up in our own channels (in our case at Breakfast All Day, we do movie reviews and news every Tuesday and Friday) that it's easy to forget to to engage with others and let them know we appreciate their work. Sean, this video has the most awe inspiring, most relevant, most motivating content I’ve had the fortune to watch (not once but over and over) in all the time I’ve been exposed to KZbin in my journey of becoming a content creator! Aside from you being a skillful communicator the 10 points you delivered in this video struck my being like a bolt of lightning as most relevant to me. My goals for KZbin was to create a path to lead potential art buyers to my store and that goal still exists. The road to this single goal takes tenacity and dedication as you and any successful KZbinr knows. Along the way I have discovered I love to create not only my art pieces but videos that I hope become art pieces, too. A double edge sword that reaps rewards in selling my art and of course seeing my videos create a following. As a British born Australian now living in the USA at the age of 67, I’ve seen some things in my time but I’ve always been passionate at whatever I have focused on. Today my focus is on becoming successful as a KZbin partner and your channel is my go to place to learn the skills and learn how to use new tools. Thanks Sean!

As an education channel, I struggle to grow subscribers. A lot of my viewers are here for specific reasons, so they often don't return. Good title. Edit: on the way to drop my kids off to school and on the way back home thinking about how to get to that magical 3% conversion rate that most large channels have. I exported my videos and looked at the videos that have a 2% conversion rate or higher because it’s a small group of them to try to understand what about those videos converted so well because the majority of my videos convert at the average rate of one percent which I found to be a baseline. This is the perfect video for where I am right now. Thanks Sean for making this.

Great video because I know how hard it can be sometimes... I am small KZbinr, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but it is hard at the beginning (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Famester, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).

All great tips. I get 500 to 1,000 subscribers per day. Break your long form videos into "shorts" and your subscriber count will boom as long as your videos are good.

You just gave me a great idea, Sean!!! I do guitar videos, maintenance, and such, showing how to use the product, but I think I've been going about it the wrong way. Maybe, do an unboxing of said product, and a review after using it. Usually I'm just showing the product, showing how to use it, done deal. I keep on forgetting that this is nothing more than a grown ups shown in tell, and that's all it is.

Hello everyone. I'm from the Philippines and I am aspirant youtube creator with small subscribers and has a small views. I love watching many kinds of tutorial on how to manage properly their youtube channel in order to grow properly like this. I just wanna say thank you for creating and sharing video like this because it will helps us (small youtube creators) a lot on how to grow our channel better. God bless us all and also our youtube channel. Have a great day to us.

Number 10 really hit home for me! I’m near tears being reminded to not give up, be patient, and commit. It’s what I needed to be reminded as a newbie. It can be so overwhelming and discouraging at times. Plus having unrealistic expectations also doesn’t help! Thank you Sean for this vid and great tips. I’m making the commitment and promise to self to keep at it in 2024!

You got this. I just watched a few of your shorts. Those handstands are amazing. Please consider adding a description to your channel homepage. Unless you are trying to have a “shorts” only channel. Focus on long form content. Even if it take your longer to make those videos. I personally no longer make shorts. They were giving me a false sense of success. I post a short video and get 1,000’s of views. Then post a long form and get 25 views. I haven’t posted a short video in 4 months. My long form views get hundreds & thousands of views now. You are fit over 50! I love that motto! You got this!

Engagement, content, titles and hooks are really important. If you have a lot of subscribers, but there are no engagements, KZbin algorithm won't promote the channel as much to the channel with high engagements. With that being said, I hope you guys achieve your goals in 2024. 💯

I love this kind of video where you talk straight to the camera. These are really good tips. My favourite tip is “improve your content”. I have been trying hard to do that since I launched my channel 1 year ago. Every new video is better than the previous one. When I look back and compare the first few videos and the last ones I can see how different they are, in a good way.😊 Thank you so much for these tips. There are a few channels I watch every week and this is one of them.

You nailed that directly. 😂 I keep my very first video on my page on there intentionally. It’s super cringy and I leave it there for a reason , just to show the growth. Now just over 1 year later I’m getting closer to being monetized.

Great tips as always! I see people arguing for and against *asking people to subscribe...it sounds like we should, though? I used to ask at the end of my earliest videos, but I quit mentioning it. Maybe it's time to experiment with adding that call to action back in. 😊

My biggest takeaway is that the momentum that KZbin gives with consistency is phenomenal! Yes, I'm small. I've only been making KZbin videos for 4 months. On January 1st, I was at 27 subscribers, now on the last day of January, I've more than doubled that number and I'm at 68 subscribers! I've gotten on average at least 1 subscriber a day, this month, by being consistent and making use of both long-form and short-form videos. And I've seen the growth going faster and faster as I keep it up. I know it's a journey, but I also know that one day I too will get 100+ subscribers a day as I keep on doing what's necessary!
@julieomas775 ай бұрын
For me, my KZbin, instead of having a subscriber, they unsubscribed me those I subscribe they left me. But me I never unsubscribed anyone,until now. And those who watched my KZbin were not my subscribers. Thank you for supporting and watching my KZbin
