nice vid, yeah ret pallys are well known to do big but useless aoe dmg, mostly pad and low prio and low singeltarget.. but still a fun specc to play :D good series wpwp

Yeah thats kind of fair they dont really have much funneling going on its mainly just a lot of blanket aoe via Divine storm. Although the templar Hero talents do definitely help with their ST and their prio damage it feels like with the ladder half of the wake of ashes ability. Im also usually topping the charts in ST so it doesnt feel too bad but I do recognize Im just playing with random pug groups so its not exactly the best metric.

I like the idea of the video but you should look at a few things: Dont be toxic: As a viewer it felt like half your commentary was look at how good im doing even though my group is bad (good example of this is 9:10 or 9:55) +7s are still people who are learning mechanics and dungeons Focus on a target audience: This isnt quite a dungeon guide and isn't close to specific enough for a ret guide but you still mention dungeon mechanincs and some ret specific things If its a dungeon guide go into much more detail on those aspects If its a ret guide then go WAAAAY more into detail about cds and tips for bosses/packs If this is just for fun as your personal journey to 2500 then make it more exciting break up the pacing --add some suspense --add some memes dont just go over seemingly random things on the screen with a monotone voiceover your goal is to keep people engaged Punishments are a fun idea but relatively uninteractive if you dont play it up a bit for the sake of the video

Hey Darquez! I really appreciate the feedback and I’m going to give the things you said a lot of thought. I will say that since I very recently decided to transition into wow content that I have been trying a lot of different things and styles over the last few videos. Like I said though I’m going to take everything you said into consideration moving forward :) I’d be curious to see if you felt like there was a better choice of the three to focus on for Zero To Hero type content, if I should focus on the entertaining side of my journey, making it more of a dungeon guide throughout the series, or making it more of a ref paladin guide throughout the series. Beyond that if you happened to watch episode 1 of the series, I feel like I focused more on making it entertaining and I’d be curious to see if you thought that video hit the mark better than the 3rd :)

@@VinisKitchen22 Personally I think there are great guide/tutorial content creators out there for WoW, but not enough joke videos-- but thats not to say you cant be one of the good educational ones for rets or dps -- Quasii the warrior/tank Player makes great educational videos which you could draw inspiration from so does YodaTV but they are both for tanks. Doing something similar but dps focused could be good if you choose that path. I think its moreso up to what you like/want to make videos on if its memes/entertainment or if its guides/tutorials what ever will keep you motivated to make the next one!

@ gotcha, that’s definitely fair and I do like Quasii, yoda and even vesperalTV. I think my current plan (although subject to change) is to eventually get every class/spec to 2500 IO via a zero to hero series and then also pick one main each season to shoot for like top 1% give or take. Finally, In between the zero to hero series do guides for each of the specs and some general mythic+ guides as well.
