I've recently tried getting into Patapon on PPSSPP but for some reason I have small amounts of input lag with my controller making it really hard to land perfect combos, moreso in 2 than in 3 but anyone have any ideas on how to reduce imput lag with this game?

It's versus mode. Which means you're playing with actual humans. For the dark hero part spoiler alert Pick the first option on the ending then you got ragewolf, level him up to unlock more dark heroes.
