I watched this series but the first 6 episodes were slow af imo. It took me forrrrever to get through it. At the end though, I loved it. The Boys is possibly the best thing I’ve seen recently. And also Mrs Maisel. 💜

Don’t worry if you don’t understand everything with this show right now. They end up explaining pretty much everything that they introduce in the first episode, well... most of it. :)

It isn't said in the comics or the show, but some of the 43 children were abandoned and died because their mothers were horrified, some the mother died and the child was lost to die in the streets, and some the mothers simply wouldn't give away for anything. This was said outside of canon by Gerard Way and other people who worked on the books. The point is, whatever the surviving children are doing, the Umbrella Academy children don't know, so we don't know because the story is about them.

Good ear by Kacee to notice that Phantom of the Opera music. This show does have some great music to it which I love. And don't worry about being confused by things because when I first watched it I was like..."wtf is going on" and you're picking up on things a lot faster than I did. But I think you did it best by going into it as blind as possible. My friend tried explaining it to me (without spoilers) and I was honestly more confused than if I had just started out of the blue. You guys are doing such a great job growing your channel with some high quality reactions.

If you were looking for something good on Netflix, I would recommend The Dragon Prince. It's made by the same people that made Avatar the last Airbender and if you liked Avatar, you'll like this. Ps: One of the main characters has the same voice actor as Sokka Pps: This show WILL hit you in the feels.
